Chima Okeoma, 5’8 PG Union Catholic 2023
Okeoma powered the Vikings to the South Jersey Non-Public A title as he poured in a game-high 26 points. The 5’8 guard played with confidence with the ball in his hands as he was able to get to his spot on the floor and finished through contact around the rim. Okeoma hit big shots for Union Catholic during the game, including a buzzer-beating three to give the Vikings a 14-point halftime lead. He played good on-ball defense as he got steals, which led to to runouts and easy layups in transition. Okeoma is a lightning-quick lead guard whose ability to put up points in bunches will be key for the Vikings in the Non-Public A final.
Matt Hodge Matt Hodge 6'8" | PF St. Rose | 2024 State #104 Nation NJ , 6’8 PF St. Rose 2024
Hodge had a big game for the Purple Roses as he put up 20 points and eight rebounds. The 6’8 forward was able to get position down low and finished nicely around the basket. Hodge showed off his perimeter game as he fired passes to teammates in the halfcourt, used his handle to beat his defender off the bounce and knocked down jumpers from behind the arc. He fought hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and influenced a number of shots around the rim. Hodge is a talented forward prospect who has made plays for St. Rose at both ends all season long.
Thomas Semiraglio Thomas Semiraglio 6'2" | SG Bishop Eustace | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 SG Bishop Eustace 2025
Semiraglio had a strong game for the Crusaders as he led them with 12 points. The 6’3 guard attacked the basket with a purpose as he was able to get into the paint and draw contact. Semiraglio showed a nice touch on his free throws and set his feet before every shot. He moved well without the ball in his hands and played solid defense. Semiraglio had a solid sophomore season for Bishop Eustace and has the potential to breakout next season.
Jeremy Clayville Jeremy Clayville 6'1" | CG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 G St. Joe’s Metuchen 2024
Clayville started off the game on the bench for the Falcons, but that did not stop him from putting up 18 points. The 6’0 guard used his handle effectively as he was able to get into the paint and showed a nice touch on his floater. Clayville showed off a quick release on his jumper and wasted little motion in his shot. He showed the ability to run the offense at times and moved his feet well on the defensive end. Clayville is a guard prospect to watch over the summer with his ability to knock down triples in bunches.
Yaw Ansong Yaw Ansong 6'11" | C Union Catholic | 2025 State #345 Nation NJ & Farouk Muntari Farouk Muntari 6'8" | PF Union Catholic | 2025 State NJ , Union Catholic 2025
Ansong and Muntari held down the paint for the Vikings as they made a major impact throughout the game. The latter showed off his range as he knocked a triple in the first quarter and finish nicely around the basket. Ansong was lethal in the pick-and-roll as he dove to the basket hard and finished with authority above the rim. They both ripped down rebounds at both ends of the floor and influenced shots in the paint. Ansong and Muntari will be a frontcourt duo to watch in the Non-Public A final as they continue to improve their games at both ends of the floor.
