<p>Off and running at this year's State Tournament, I'll take a look at some sophomores that I expect to make an impact in the 2A bracket. I will also include my picks for Tuesday's 2A quarterfinal matchups. </p>

<p><strong>G #1 [player_tooltip player_id='1381408' first='Zach' last='Driscoll'] (MFL MarMac) - </strong>Zach had another huge year for the Bulldogs, absolutely stuffing the stat sheet. He can score from all three levels, averaging 20.5 points a game this season. He facilitates well (5.0 apg), and works hard on the defensive end, generating 4.2 steals per game. An all-around player, Zach will be one to keep an eye on MFL's quarterfinal game against Pella Christian.</p>

<p><strong>G #21, [player_tooltip player_id='1436462' first='Kaden' last='Van Regenmorter'] (Western Christian) - </strong>The second-leading scorer for the Wolfpack (13.0 ppg), Kaden impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He uses his frame and athleticism to get to the hoop, but can also step out and shoot. He averages 4.0 assists per game and does a good job generating steals on the defensive end.</p>

<p><strong>F #22, [player_tooltip player_id='1759901' first='Seaton' last='Ingram'] (Des Moines Christian) - </strong>Ingram will have a tough matchup in Des Moines, going up against Central Lyon, but he has played well against tough opponents this year. A solid scorer inside and out (11.4 ppg), Seaton is just as good on the defensive end. The 6'5" sophomore averages over two steals a game and can guard multiple positions. </p>

<p><strong>F #15, [player_tooltip player_id='1759903' first='Carson' last='Lambert'] (Monticello) - </strong>A lengthy guard/forward combo, Carson averaged 10.9 points a contest for the Panthers this season. At 6'3", Lambert is a solid scoring option alongside all-state teammates [player_tooltip player_id='956879' first='Tate' last='Petersen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1171677' first='Preston' last='Ries']. He shoots the deep ball well (38.7%), and is active on the glass (5.6 rpg). </p>

<p><strong>G #4 [player_tooltip player_id='1759944' first='Carson' last='Kanne'] (Kuemper Catholic) - </strong>Listed at 5'9", Kanne is a secondary scorer for the Knights, but is the leading assister (4.0 apg) for this bunch. He's very smart with the ball, boasting a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio. He had a team-high 18 points, to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the Knights substate win.</p>
