Johnson was a pest on both ends of the floor for Team Forsyth as they took home the championship in the 2nd annual Triad First48 JV County Clash. He impressed with his ability to stop the ball and force turnovers then on the opposite end with his ability to knock down shots off the bounce and in the paint. He showed he could operate without the ball as well with his perimeter shooting. He’s a name out of Reynolds High to keep an eye on in the 2025 class.
Barnes was an impressive lead guard in the Team Davidson backcourt and quite the 1-2 combination alongside NaQuel Wood NaQuel Wood 5’5″ | PG Lexington Senior | 2025 State NC as they wreaked havoc on opponents all the way up to the championship game. He showed off his ability to fill it up in the early from the perimeter with five 3-pointers as his squad cruised to a victory in their early game. He showed he could operate without worry on both ends of the floor and put Oak Grove High on the map in the process.
Davis was another floor general that stood out with his ability to make things happen in the backcourt for Team Forsyth. He showed he could get rebounds out of the net and push the pace, finding his shooters and bigs in space for easy buckets. He also showed he could get to the paint and finish in traffic as well. He’s a 2026 prospect to keep eyes on at Page High.
Motsinger was a fearless floor general with the ball in his hands for the Stokes/Surry squad. He showed he could make things happen as a shooter on the perimeter and playmaker in space as his team pulled off the final victory of the day in impressive fashion. He handled the ball with ease and didn’t falter at pressure, showing off his confidence with the ball in his hands. He’s a backcourt name in the 2026 class to keep eyes on at East Surry High.
Tinnin was an impressive lead guard prospect for Team Rockingham/Alamance/Caswell/Randolph as he displayed off his ability to handle the ball and make things happen in space. He showed off a solid mid-range game, complete with an easy pull-up he showcased along with exquisite court vision to lead his squad. He’s a 2025 name to get to know at Walter M Williams High with an impressive skillset.
