[player_tooltip player_id='992516' first='Isaiah' last='West'] (Goodpasture) overcame a potentially career-ending injury as a teenager. In addition to conquering the exhaustive rehabilitation process, West also surmounted the self-doubt embedded in every massive surgery and attempted return. Worries about him never regaining the athleticism and strength from previous to the injury were legitimate and now proven unjustified.

He was fantastic in the State Tournament. In the final, West scored 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Mr. Basketball. State Tournament MVP, State Champion.

[player_tooltip player_id='992497' first='Jaylen' last='Jones'] (East Nashville)

That Mr. Basketball [player_tooltip player_id='992497' first='Jaylen' last='Jones'] will not get a second State Championship is a travesty, or at the very least an appearance. He was the most dominant player on the most dominant team. He will play D1 for Tennessee State. Pearl-Cohn ensured be will not play in the State Tournament.

Jones averaged 23.9 points per game and made 66 three-pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1416525' first='Doyel' last='Cockrill III'] (Pearl-Cohn)

When [player_tooltip player_id='1416525' first='Doyel' last='Cockrill III'] made 13 3-pointers in a single game two years back his name immediately passed through the whispers in Nashville. With time he enhanced his basketball reputation to a more regional level. He finished his senior season, after dispatching of State Champion-favorite East Nashville by averaging 21.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 3.6 apg. DC III made 85 three-pointers and 142 free throws in this year alone.

[player_tooltip player_id='1725210' first='Lorenzo' last='McMillion'] (Davidson Academy)

McMillion is a name that popped just this winter, as opposed to [player_tooltip player_id='992516' first='Isaiah' last='West'], ranked Top 10 since 15u AAU season, at least for the watchful eye of PrepHoopsTN. A hulking 6-foot-5 wing, LM found consistent scoring his senior year and rebounded at a high clip. Lorenzo helped his team win games and win important games including games in three different in-season events: Zaxby's Classic (2-0), Corey Brewer Tournament (2-1), FRA Classic (2-0).

State Champion. He put in 19 points and 9 rebounds in the State Championship Game. Contributed 14.5 points per along with 8-9 rebounds. Unmatched athleticism. Finished the season #1 in @PrepHoopsTN 2025 rankings.
