Chris Arambula - Wray

Chris Arambula took over for Wray in the 2A state championship game showing his ability to score and create for others. Chris was the best player on the floor for the 2A state championship game showing his ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor. Sanford held a good lead throughout the game until the 4th quarter when Chris took. Chris forced Sanford to turn the ball over and made two big threes, the second one securing the lead for Wray. He also did a very good job making tight passes throughout the game.

McCray Larson - Sanford

McCray Larson used his height to protect the paint and score down low. McCray was the biggest player on the court and he used his size to his advantage in the post. On the defensive end, he used his length to protect the rim and block a few shots. McCray played within his game and had a great last performance to end his career on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1754415' first='Gavin' last='Foonberg'] - Denver Jewish Day School

[player_tooltip player_id='1754415' first='Gavin' last='Foonberg'] was the floor general that led Denver Jewish Day School to the 1A championship. Gavin helped control the pace when his team made their push to get ahead in the second half. He did a good job sitting on the defensive end and poking loose the ball from opponents. Gavin made some key buckets in their run and had a great final game to end his career with Denver Jewish Day School.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369818' first='Ty' last='Yoder'] - Resurrection Christian

[player_tooltip player_id='1369818' first='Ty' last='Yoder']'s bucket-getting ability helped Resurrection Christian stay in the game. Ty used his quickness to move off of the ball to get open looks. He scored well around the rim as well when he was able to get downhill. Ty and this Resurrection Christian squad will surely be one of top of the 4A rankings next season, as they returning a very good core of players.

Keenan Winnerman - Denver Jewish Day School

Keenan Winnerman played solid basketball on both ends of the floor in the 1A championship. Keenan played good defense using his length to block a few shots and make very solid contests forcing the opponent to take tough shots. He also was a glue guy on offense making the right passes and some kick-out assists. Keenan also had key buckets on Denver Jewish Day School's run that put them ahead in the third.

[player_tooltip player_id='1848642' first='Ben' last='Sittler'] - Sanford

The youngster [player_tooltip player_id='1848642' first='Ben' last='Sittler'] had a good performance on the big stage. Ben stepped out and knocked down a few three-point shots. He also showed off his ability to get to the bucket where he had a few nice finishes through traffic. Ben will be a sophomore to keep an eye on throughout his career.
