With the numerous PIAA District Playoff matchups taking place on Friday night, gyms all over southeastern Pennsylvania were buzzing with hoops action.

Below is review of seven players who posted standout performances during Friday night's District playoff contests.

Adam “Budd” Clark – 5'9” / Senior / West Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] / Point Guard: Friday night, the fastest end to end lead guard in the region secured West Catholic its first District 12-3A title since 1953 by pouring in 27 points. Clark (Coppin State commit) got out on the break for numerous easy baskets. In the half court Clark splashed jumpers and blew by his defender off the bounce for lay-ins. He also turned several steals into points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045684' first='Jacob' last='Cummiskey'] – 6'3” / CB East / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Black / Wing: Cummiskey is a versatile, high IQ prospect who can run at the 1, 2 or 3 spot. Inside he can play through contact in the paint. On the perimeter Cummiskey is a respectable 3-point shooter. Additionally, Cummiskey is a plus rebounder at both ends. Last night he netted 17 points in CB East's District 1-6A state tourney seeding game win over Upper Darby.

[player_tooltip player_id='1186043' first='Nayeem' last='Johnson'] – 6'2” / Senior / Math, Civics & Sciences / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Black / Wing: On Friday Johnson did all he could to keep MCS competitive in their District 12-3A championship game against West Catholic. But in the end, is 17-point effort just was not enough as WC took home the hardware. Still, Johnson proved in that contest he can score at all 3-levels vs. elite competition.

Jeremiah Marshall – 6'1” / Senior / Coatesville / BW Elite / Combo Guard: Marshall showed once again last night that he is one of the most underrated 2023 prospects in the area. During Coatesville's District 1-6A state tournament seeding game win, Marshall dropped a game high 20 points. He scored at the rim, displayed a smooth mid-range game, and even splashed one three. Marshall also rebounded well for a guard. College coaches need to stop sleeping on this prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1460801' first='Jacob' last='Sniras'] – 6'4” / Sophomore / Garnet Valley / PSB Philly-Harken / Combo Guard: If you watched Friday night's Garnet Valley vs. North Penn District 1-6A state tourney seeding game, you witnessed a dynamic offensive performance by Sniras. The highly touted sophomore got buckets from everywhere on the floor as he rung up 30 points by halftime. North Penn managed to slow him down in the 2nd half, but Sniras still finished with 39 points (2 threes) and GV got the win. As a bonus to his scoring abilities, Sniras possesses tremendous basketball instincts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1486760' first='Jahrel' last='Vigo'] – 6'1” / Sophomore / Allentown Central Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Red / Combo Guard: Vigo's ascent up our Class off 2025 rankings continued last night as he registered 22 points and 7 steals in ACC's District 11-4A championship game win over archrival Bethlehem Catholic. Vigo is a bouncy and versatile athlete who can put points in the scorebook from both guard spots and as a slasher wing. Obviously, he is a menacing defender too.

Amyr Walker – 6'1” / Senior / West Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Red / Wing: An opposing coach once described Walker as an “absolute dawg”, and we feel that is extremely accurate. Yes, Walker can score (16 points last night), but college coaches will love hos other assets. He plays with next level intensity, owns a high basketball IQ, plays menacing on ball defense as well as excellent team defense, and is a beast on the glass. Last night Walker displayed all these items as he helped WC bring home the District 12-3A title.
