The 2023 rankings are out.

We dive into the positional rankings. We first look at the point guards for the senior class.

Here are the top-10 PG's in the 2023 class:

[player_tooltip player_id='1576379' first='Jordan' last='Ross'] AZ Compass Prep

A bigger sized pure point guard is the top of the food chain facilitator. The lefty sees the court well and has a burst to get into the lane. He can shoot it from the perimeter and uses his size and length to defend. He signed with Saint Mary's.

[player_tooltip player_id='994130' first='Isaiah' last='Kai'] Campo Verde

The Northern Arizona commit had a great career in Gilbert. He got that ring and almost had a triple double to finish his career. He is one of the best passers in the AIA and is a pure team player. He scores on pull-ups high above the ground and threes plus can burst by with his speed and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='814039' first='Mark' last='Brown Jr'] Bella Vista Prep

One of the top unsigned guards in the state. He has real power and a very tight handle. He loves getting downhill and scoring thru contact plus he has a polished mid-range jumper. He will defend the ball with quick feet and a sturdy frame.

[player_tooltip player_id='701269' first='Raydon' last='Thorson'] Phhoenix Prep Post Grad

A fast and athletic pure point guard with a tight handle. He has some flash and sizzle in his bag and has improved as a shooter each season. His shift with the ball is one of the best in the state and can flush it down on the break. His pinpoint passing threads the needle about as well as you can.

[player_tooltip player_id='986250' first='Amont'e' last='Allen-Johnson'] Dream City Christian

A physical point guard can score and defend. He gets into the lane to score on contested shots and can shoot it from mid and in mostly. He has real lateral quickness with a stronger upper body and can make plays. He is a plus rebounder for position and plays with a motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1168771' first='Nait' last='George'] Dream City Christian International

Another shifty lead guard has more of a scoring attitude than some. He works well off the pick and roll game and will fire away. He grew an inch or so in the last year and it has helped him score in the paint. He can throw players open and he guided them in the CAA OPEN Chip.

[player_tooltip player_id='1571917' first='Lucas' last='Prolla'] AZ Compass Prep Black

A thicker scoring lead guard with some moxie. He can hit the three and get to the rim with changing speeds. He is very crafty and can sling passes to teammates. He has a preferred walk-on offer from UNLV with other heavy interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1066514' first='King' last='Turner'] North Canyon

The biggest point guard in the class is Turner. He has unusually long arms and comes with deep range on his three point shots. He uses his wingspan to play the passing lanes and makes plays. He was the driving force all year for the Rattlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1771719' first='Facundo' last='Aranda'] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

A pure point guard from Argentina is a throw back. He is consistently spraying the ball around looking for teammates for dimes. He can get to the basket and is usually looking to make a play. He can shoot it plus score on euros. He is currently hearing from multiple D2's.

[player_tooltip player_id='814517' first='Cohen' last='J Gonzales'] Mesquite

Arguably the most entertaining guard in the class is fast and athletic. He has some jets in the open court and ultimate stamina. He is one of the best scorers in the state from the AIA and does it with pull-ups, deep triples, floaters, runners and many times out racing his opponents for layups or even a dunk attempt. He is hearing from many schools.
