He’s a very effective screener, able to roll to the basket or pop for the open three. Lue can work out of either the high or low post as well. Currently holds a handful of mid-major offers but should attract many high-majors this spring.
Region 8-6A Player of the Year, Jayce Nathaniel Jayce Nathaniel 6’7″ | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ has shown consistent improvement over the past couple years but is still scratching the surface of his ultimate potential. Nathaniel is 6’8 with an impressive wingspan and a whole lot of bounce. He’s a consistent lob threat and has great body control in the air. He’s shown the ability to step out and knock down the open three-ball as well.
Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 6’9″ | C Overtime Elite (GA) | 2024 #145 Nation GA moved over from Grayson to Overtime Elite prior to the season, having been a highly-touted prospect for years. His game is worthy of the bright lights and there’s always a highlight to be made when he’s on the floor. Williams is an springy jumper that can get off the floor in a split second which allows him to block a lot of shots and finish dunks in traffic. His jumper has shown a lot of development and he’s now pretty consistent from 15 feet. Hopefully we see Williams back with the Atlanta Celtics this spring.
Josh Hill Josh Hill 6’10” | C Wheeler | 2024 State #167 Nation GA is a wiry 6’11 forward that possesses the skill set to hurt defenses from the high post or the dunker spot. He can hit the outside jumper and has the size to get his shot off over closeouts. Hill’s a great athlete, super mobile and constantly has his hands around the rim deflecting shots or grabbing boards. His list of offers could grow immensely this spring.
Mekhi Turner Mekhi Turner 6’8″ | PF Maynard Jackson | 2024 State #271 Nation GA really had the opportunity to shine this year at Maynard Jackson and put up some impressive numbers consistently. Averaged 15 ppg and 12 rpg in a very tough region. He’s an explosive jumper off two feet and can finish contested dunks at the rim. Has shown stretch capabilities, improving jump shot. Defensively, he contests shots well and has a lot of upside as a rim protector.
