Continue ReadingThe physical powerhouse can score with his back to the basket on the low block. He has a strong gather that dislodges defenders. Akwiwu scores through contact and can finish lobs with authority.
Versatile forward that can play inside and out. Has a next level frame that will continue to add muscle and plays above the rim. Runs the floor well. Can handle some on the perimeter. Alters shots with his length. Can hit the three off the dribble. Has flourished at Mt. Pisgah after seeing limited time at McDonough as a junior.
Averaging 17.4 points and 8.4 rebounds, Anderson has found his niche playing the dunker spot and finding open creases in the defense. He has good hands and a nose for the ball. Jeremy is quick off his feet for rebounds and has a soft touch around the rim, but also is a competent three-point shooter with a compact quick stroke.
Rhodes has wide shoulders and a wiry frame with functional strength. He’s patient on offense, using ball fakes and clean footwork down low to score. Chris can open up the floor with his mid-range jumper and can play with power when he needs to. Rhodes is a good rebounder and times his jumps well when blocking shots. Chris does everything you could ask for from a high school big man.
A bit of a tweener, Eli Davis is a combo-forward that can play either the wing or stretch-four. He’s very effective in the high post against the zone, able to showcase his feathery touch. Davis can be moved around on offense and must be marked on the perimeter as he’s a very good three-point shooter off the catch.
