New Comers
The old Region 2 has all moved down to 5A and this might help with some competitive equity. Cyprus had a big year but their new roster for next season is questionable but we will see. They have a coach that knows how to get the best out of anyone on the roster. Kearns should perform better in 5A as should West Jordan. Hunter, Granger and Taylorsville are the other teams from this region moving down.
Clearfield is the other team that moves down to 5A.

Overview
Region 6 and Region 7 should be the two toughest regions in basketball. There is about 7 players that should be able to land on a D1 roster that will play in 5A next year. The competition isn’t as deep as it was this year but with some new teams playing in 5A anything can happen.
Players to Watch:
Jaxson Johnson
Dominck Phannolath
There will be more players that will rise in time but this is a solid list of players to start with.
