Hundreds of college coaches attended the event which has always been one of the best tournaments to recruit at, and this year was no different.
Putnam Science Academy (CT) came away as the national champs in thrilling fashion, winning their third straight championship and 4 of the last 5.
Here’s a look at part two of the standouts from the many New England programs in attendance.

Tre Norman Tre Norman 6'3" | CG Worcester Academy (MA) | 2023 State #174 Nation NLG | 6’3” PG | Worcester Academy ’23
The Marquette commit was fantastic for a Worcester team that was just a possession away from making the championship game in front of basically their home crowd, and along with the other two below he was pivotal in all aspects. The 6’3” point guard is a legit three level all-around scorer who can create shots off the bounce, catch-and-shoot from deep and is a strong and athletic finisher when he gets downhill and gets to the rim. He was their primary ball handler and did a good job creating for others as well, and he was there for them in late shot clock situations and when they needed a bucket.
TJ Power TJ Power 6'8" | SF Worcester Academy | 2023 State #56 Nation NLG | 6’8” PF | Worcester Academy ’23
The Duke commit is the biggest name on this Worcester team, and with the season on the line Power took over and was huge for them in their close loss to Sunrise down the stretch, The 6’8” forward used his size in the paint to rebound and finish around the rim, he used his shooting and touch on the perimeter to make shots and stretch the floor and in the midrange he was great on post ups and fall-aways hitting tough shots. He was consistently productive and efficient, and when they needed him the most is when he played his best.
Kayvaun Mulready Kayvaun Mulready 6'4" | CG Worcester Academy | 2024 State #90 Nation NLG | 6’5” F | Worcester Academy ’24
Mulready is one of the best all-around players in the NEPSAC and was arguably Worcester’s best player throughout the season, and nothing changed come tournament time as the 6’5” Providence commit did a little bit of everything for his team. He’s a positionless player who can guard almost every position and makes plays on the defensive end, he’s an exceptional athlete who plays well above the rim and rebounds very well and he can make shots from deep and handle the rock when he needs to. He plays with a great motor making him productive even when he isn’t scoring, and his all-around production level is super impressive.
Stephen Snagg | 6’7” PF | New Hampton ’23
While New Hampton lost in the first round, they played some very exciting games throughout the weekend and in their early morning matchup with St. Benedict’s on Sunday Snagg was fantastic for them. The 6’7” forward showed big time athleticism running the floor and finishing above the rim, he moves his feet well and is able to stay in front defensively and in help defense he was a good rim protector and he brought a ton of energy to his team when he was on the floor. He strikes me as a guy who has great tools now and still has a lot of room to improve moving forward.
Keyshaun Tillery | 5’11” PG | New Hampton ’25
Tillery has become one of my personal favorite players in the New England Prep scene over the past year, and he’s quickly developing into one of the most talented young guards in the area. What the 5’11” lead guard lacks in size, he makes up for with his explosive athleticism and speed, his tough shot making ability and his intense ball pressure on the defensive end. He did a great job pushing the ball in transition and making plays for himself and others, he made shots from deep off the catch and off the bounce and he’s able to use his craft and body control to finish over bigger defenders.
Mason Blackwood Mason Blackwood 6'5" | SF New Hampton | 2025 State NLG | 6’6” WF | New Hampton ’25
Blackwood is another young prospect on this New Hampton team that has a very bright future, as he’s already seeing high major schools tracking him and it will only be more after this summer. The 6’6” wing already has prototypical size and should fill out nicely over the next few years, he’s able to get to spots off the bounce and rise up and make shots and he’s a good shooter from deep as well. He’s growing into his body and will get more athletic over time and he still has a lot of room to get better moving forward.
