Playoff Central. What do you love about March? Basketball. And we love the March Madness that comes with playoff basketball. The big moment from Monday was [player_tooltip player_id='1288688' first='Aiden' last='Johnson'] hitting a mid-lane runner with a second to go giving Cannon Falls a 55-53 win over La Crescent. Johnson had 23 points and eight rebounds in the victory. Now Cannon Falls gets Lake City this Saturday in Rochester.

Upset City. The population of Upset City was light last night, but we did get three 9 seeds beating 8 seeds in pigtail games. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, and Ortonville all move on to face the one seeds later this week after putting together a nice playoff memory.

Top Performers. Here is the list that we were able to put together for Monday top performers (after Johnson of course). The Monday MVP though was Big Will.

[player_tooltip player_id='962224' first='Will' last='Opsahl'] of Goodhue. You want to talk about a full game of results, Will had 28 points with four threes and 10 of 11 foul shooting plus he dished out six assists as the lead guard and had a dozen boards! That led to Goodhue moving on with a 60-50 win over Rushford-Peterson.

Buak Koay of Lyle/Austin Pacelli. Koak exploded off the tip hitting double figures quickly and scoring 28 points for the game. One of Minnesota's top unsigned players, Koak scored on four threes leading his team to a 72-52 win over a solid Fillmore Central team.
