First Team
Tyler Jackson Tyler Jackson 6'2" | CG St. Frances | 2025 #40 Nation MD – SFA
Jackson caught headlines early this season with big performances on big stages. He went off at the Jumpman Classic event in NY followed by an impressive showing at the prestigious City of Palms by pouring in 26 points against Link Academy. He showed spurts of his elite scoring prowess throughout the rest of the season, which proved to be valuable in their run to the MIAA A Conference championship. Jackson will look to continue to prove his worth this spring and summer with Team Thrill.
Jalen Rougier-Roane Jalen Rougier-Roane 6'5" | CG Sidwell Friends | 2025 State #142 Nation MD – Sidwell
Rougier-Roane has a unique blend of size and skill for his age that came to the forefront this season. At 6’4-6’5, he’s a knockdown shooter from three, can finish athletically around the rim and use his versatility on the defensive end to guard multiple positions. He was a key cog in helping Sidwell to a MAC and DCSAA championships
Cam Ward – Largo
Ward put forth one of the more impressive sophomore campaigns that we’ve seen in recent years. The 6’6 combo forward carried Largo to a PG County title, Regional championship and an appearance in the Class 2A title game where they would come up short against New Town. It was Ward’s second-straight season of posting ridiculous per game numbers as he further cemented himself as a guaranteed double-double whenever he takes the floor.
Derek Dixon Derek Dixon 6'4" | SG Gonzaga | 2025 State #153 Nation MD – Gonzaga
Dixon emerged as a prized shot maker this year for head coach Steve Turner. If you pay close attention to the grassroots scene, you were well aware of his shooting ability, but it was his passing vision, feel and ability to impact the game in multiple ways that made him a no-brainer as a top five sophomore this season.
Nyk Lewis- Gonzaga
When you watch Lewis, you’d have no clue that you’re watching a sophomore considering how advanced his skill set is. He took full control of the offense for head coach Steve Turner as a dynamic floor general who can provide balance as a scorer or distributor. He has elite instincts at both ends with how he understands pace, situational strategies and allows the chip on his shoulder to fuel his activity.
