RJ played this past season at James Island HS after starting off at Cathedral Academy in North Charleston. Simmons a combo guard was able to get to his spots here today with the ball in his hands. He touched the paint and looks to penetrate – kick to open players on the floor.
RJ will at times take some tough shots on the floor and they come out to be makes in the end.
Murdock was playing against a high school teammate and some neighborhood kids in the battle vs Lowcountry ‘ last=”] Storm. Kai really likes to set up shop out on the perimeter these days. He has the ability to play inside-out on the floor.
Kai can stroke the 3-ball and shows good versatility to defend multiple players on the floor. At times today Kai was seen bringing the ball up the floor and in transition. Murdock played this past season at Wando HS after starting off his career at Cathedral Academy with Simmons.
Gay has a new team in Team Ford Skills. Sully comes from the Lowcountry ‘ last=”] at Beaufort HS. Gay is a shooting guard and he does most of his work behind the 3-point line and perimeter. Sully connected on some open jumpers today vs Horry Select.
Bobbit showed some good glimpses today and at one-time rattled off about 9 straight points for the team from Horry County. Carter moved onto the Grand Strand last fall from New Jersey while suiting up for the St James HS Sharks. He’s a deceptive athlete at times and really likes to work the corners on the floor.
Britschge was a great spark off the bench today for Big Shots SC Select. Jason connected on a few short mid-rage jumpers when he wasn’t putting back in a shot around the rim. Britschge the ultimate team guy plays his role very well on the floor for this squad. He delivered results off the bench and a even better attitude when he entered the game.
Highlights
Williams was a load at times down low in the paint. Nick a football player in the fall for the Cougars was able to finish through contact down in the paint. Williams really looked to drive to the rack and did all of his damage inside the paint area.
