Continue ReadingDoerr transferred from Manual to Evangel this past summer and it paid immediate dividends as he earned 6th region player of the year honors and is primed for a big spring and summer of AAU. With several D1 schools already involved, look for Christian to earn multiple D1 offers before the fall.
One of my favorite prospects to watch in the class, Tucker always plays hard and is always trying to dunk on people when the opportunity presents itself. Jacob checks a lot of boxes in terms of impacting winning and Fairdale’s resurgence in the last couple of seasons has been in large part thanks to he and Dalton Hicks Dalton Hicks 6’2″ | PG Fairdale | 2024 State KY .
Speaking of, Dalton is the next name on our list. Hicks is a smooth scorer who has a high IQ and a knack for making good reads and decisions. His overall shooting numbers took a little dip this season but Dalton established himself as one of the best guards in the 6th region and Fairdale is a team to keep an eye on next year.
Another player whose transfer paid dividends, Stinebruner showed himself to be one of the top three point shooters in the class as he knocked down 42% of his shots from deep. Abram is skilled and has good size at the 2 spot. He needs to be more aggressive off the bounce but he has the physical tools to attack the rim and finish.
Another really good shooter, Cox shot threes almost exclusively this season as he put up 226 shots from deep and only 91 twos. Shooting just shy of 40% from behind the arc. Analytics would tell Camden to keep firing but college coaches are likely to want to see more attacking off the dribble and getting downhill. Regardless, Camden should be on the radar for a lot of colleges.
