Prep Hoops Florida scouts Allen Pettigrew and Ross Van De Griek are on the grounds of the RP Funding Center in Lakeland throughout the week. Here is who stood out in the morning session of Day 2:
The 6-5 junior forward plays bigger than his size indicates and was tough in the interior, finishing with a team-high 15 points and 5 rebounds leading his team to their first state championship game appearance in school history.
The 5-7 senior guard struggled to score, but his ability to get to the free throw line was how he got his scoring, adding 14 points and 8 rebounds in the 47-39 win over Gibbs. Bradley went 6-for-7 from the line, with most of his attempts coming late in the game.
The 6-9 senior power forward led all scorers with 19 points and 8 rebounds in their 43-39 semifinal win over Ribault, where he scored most of his points in the second half. The Alabama commit ran the floor and was aggressive to the basket where he got most of his points.
The 5-11 senior combo guard was electrifying to watch in the second half, knocking down timely shots and played unselfish throughout the whole game. Rosell finished with 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the field.
