Lonnie’s game evolved a lot over the summer and continued to do so during this season. He attacks the ball well and finishes through traffic efficiently. He rebounds well and brings a ton of good energy to the court. He hits his shots from deep too. With Holden graduating, Brown should have a huge senior year.
Ismail is a big reason why Nathan Hale had such a good season this year. The freshman came in and displayed his talents and leadership qualities right away. He attacked the bucket nice all season and hit jumpers when given/needed. He is a player to keep an eye on for years to come.
Michael is a player who improved in many different ways. He is very patient on offense with the ball in his hands. He makes the right decision and finds his teammates well. Opposing defenders need to stay on their toes as Michael is quick off his first move when getting to the bucket.
Highlights
Nolan is a current freshman who plays on one of the top 2A teams in the state. Wright is either 1st or 2nd off the bench for this experienced Mariners team and plays very hard on the court. He plays solid defense and can distribute to his teammates nicely too. He hits the 3 ball when left open and drives to the rack efficiently.
