In a very terribly officiated game last night Copper lewis powered through miss calls and was able to make some tough buckets. Although he only had 10 points one of the most important qualities of a next level PG is making adjustments and controlling the pace. Copper was able to play tough enough defense to make things miserable for the opposing PG defensively. He was active all over the floor and when he got a favorable matchup he made his way to the basket to hit tough buckets or kick out to open shooters that hit timely shots. The stat sheets does not show what a solid PG this kid is. big time win over Alta.

In the last 5 games Jaden has been on a tear scoring the ball really well and in a balanced fashion. A few three-pointers here and there but not solely casting outside jumpers. Good size for a guard and he has just figured out ways to get to good spots on the floor. He is rebounding well, playing defense and getting others good looks. He helped Farmington pull out a solid win against Davis.
One of the most athletic and electric PG’s was in his bag last night as he helped Skyline beat one of their most hated rivals in Olympus. YG was able to score big when he needed and he had help from various players that saw the floor as this Skyline team is starting to come into its own. Pay attention to the fact that YG was able to get to the rim and the mid-range against one of the better defenses in 5A without scoring from the outside. He could be very dangerous once he gets going from deep.

Another game that went down to the final seconds but during the game Matt Lambson Matt Lambson 5'11" | SG Highland | 2024 State UT does what he does best and that is knock down jumpers from deep. He went off for 7 three-pointers to help put Highland in a position to beat a solid Murray team. Earlier this year we noticed that he was money when he got looks and as the season has progressed he has gotten more looks. With a weapon like that form deep it allows his guards to get to the rim or to draw two and kick as he can take care of the rest.
in a low scoring first half Quentin does was he does best. He took over the game. he was not going to let a Roy squad upset his Pirates. He ended up with 29 points and 4 three-pointers. He also showed thathe has been working hard in the lab as he threw down a fast break dunk. Quentin remains as one of the best PG’s unsigned in the country.
