[player_tooltip player_id='1076701' first='Judah' last='Casaus'] had an outstanding weekend during the New Mexico Showdown. He held his own on both ends of the floor and showcased his full offensive arsenal. [player_tooltip player_id='1076701' first='Judah' last='Casaus'] was crafty throughout the weekend being aggressive by looking for his shot each time down the floor. He created some offense with his defense and did a good job creating extra opportunities for ABC Prep. His great weekend also included a 20-point effort in an overtime win vs Colorado Prep in an 83-81 nailbiter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] "ABC Prep" Point Guard Class of 2024

[player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] from ABC Prep was the team's top performer throughout this past weekend at the New Mexico Showdown. Each time [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] had the basketball, it seemed like he always found himself at the rim after an explosive drive. He did a phenomenal job at running the offense by creating shots for himself and others. In the team's 83-81 overtime win vs Colorado Prep this past Saturday evening, [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] was clutch several times toward the end of the game. He sent the game into overtime after making two clutch free throws and converted an "And One" dagger in overtime to secure ABC Prep's win. He was the Player of the Game with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Each college coach in attendance that I had an opportunity to have a conversation with, was raving about [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson']'s skillset as a basketball player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1076699' first='Gideon' last='Harris'] "ABC Prep" Guard Class of 2024

[player_tooltip player_id='1076699' first='Gideon' last='Harris'] played a key role for ABC Prep throughout the weekend. He affected each game this weekend in a variety of ways with his all-around game. Gideon contributed with a consistent scoring, rebounding and playmaking presence throughout the New Mexico Showdown weekend. I was impressed with him not settling for bad shots and taking high percentage ones. He knew when to be aggressive and when to attack opposing defenses. [player_tooltip player_id='1076699' first='Gideon' last='Harris'] also did a pretty good job running the point at times to take pressure off teammate; [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'].
