Dylan Blair Dylan Blair 5'10" | PG Downingtown West | 2023 State PA – 5’11” / Senior / Downingtown West / East Coast Cyclones / Point Guard: This Army commit possesses speed, filthy handles, elite change of direction skills and a high basketball IQ. Thus, he thrives in transition. In the half court Blair splashes threes at a high clip and excels at blowing past his defender. This past week Blair led D-West to the Ches-Mont league title by posting 18 points (2 threes) in their semifinal victory over WC Rustin. Then in a dramatic come from behind win in the championship game against Unionville, Blair went off for 26 points (5 triples).
Earle Greer, Jr. – 6’7” / Senior / Rocktop Academy / Team Final Red / Shooting Guard: We have been writing a great deal about the long and versatile Greer this winter because he is having a monster season. His most recent amazing performances include 38 points vs. IMG Postgrad (FL); 34 points and 12 rebounds against Victory Rock (FL); and finally, a 50-burger during a win over Florida Coastal Prep. Greer can play the 1 through 3 spots, defends and rebounds. College coaches need to stop sleeping on him.
Jacob Nguyen Jacob Nguyen 6'3" | SG Spring Ford | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / Sophomore / Spring Ford / Philly Pride National / Shooting Guard: One of southeastern Pennsylvania’s most accurate 3-point shooters was rolling this past week. In Spring Ford’s PAC Tournament semifinal win Nguyen registered 26 points (4 threes). Then in the championship game Nguyen poured in 25 points (5 threes). That victory helped SF secure the No. 1 seed in the District 1-6A playoffs. On the rare occasion where opponents run Nguyen off the arc, he will score via his polished mid-range game or get all the way to the cup.
Andrew Phillips Andrew Phillips 6'3" | SF Malvern Prep | 2023 State PA – 6’4” / Senior / Malvern Prep / Gibbs Elite / Wing: Some time ago we projected that Phillips would be a tremendous stretch-4 at the next level. This week the long and versatile Phillips continued to prove our point by dropping a 30-spot (4 threes) vs. SCHA. He followed that up by scoring 20 points (2 threes) in a win over Westtown School in the 1st round of PAISSA state tournament. Despite consistently posting impressive stat lines this season (18.6 ppg.) and recently being named the 2022-23 Inter-Ac POY, Phillips remains uncommitted.
Ruben Rodriguez Ruben Rodriguez 6'2" | PG Reading | 2023 State PA – 6’1” / Senior / Reading / Team Final EYBL & TF Red / Wing: This Rider University commit locked up his second consecutive Berks Basketball League POY award by taking over the BCIAA Tournament. In the Berks County tourney semis Rodriguez notched a 14 points and 10 rebounds double-double. Then it was another double-double by Rodriguez (23 points and 11 boards) that helped Reading secure the BCIAA championship hardware. Rodriguez remains one of the best scoring lead guards in the region.
