<p>Between the Pennsylvania Independent Schools state tournament semi-final games and the various PIAA District Playoff matchups, on Friday night gyms all over southeastern Pennsylvania were buzzing with hoops action.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1188211' first='Qudire' last='Bennett'] </strong><strong>– 6'4″/ Senior / Plymouth Whitemarsh / L&L Running Rebels / Small Forward:</strong> The front runner for the Suburban One POY award got off to a quick start last night in PW's District 1-6A quarter final contest. Bennett opened the game by draining 4 triples in the 1<sup>st</sup> quarter on his way to 16 points in that frame. Bennett also scored in transition and bullied defenders as he racked up 29 points in “P-Dub's” win.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1285466' first='Christian' last='Bliss'] </strong><strong>– 6'4” / Junior / George School / NY Rens / Combo Guard:</strong> Bliss is a two-time 1st Team All-FSL selection and one of the most sought after 2024 guards in the state. Friday night he scored at all three levels and did work on the glass as he recorded 23 points and 4 rebounds in George School's PAISSA semifinal win over Phelps School.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='991391' first='Sam' last='Brown'] </strong><strong>– 6'3″ / Senior / Lower Merion / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Combo Guard:</strong> Brown is a lefty combo guard with a lethal jump shot, polished dribbling skills and a high basketball IQ. Last night during LM's District 1-6A quarterfinal victory those skills were on full display. The Penn Quaker commit notched 29 points on 5-7 shooting from three.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1577641' first='Matt' last='Christian'] </strong><strong>– 6'3” / Senior / Methacton / Eastern PA Elite / Shooting Guard:</strong> For two years now, Christian has been one of the elite long-distance shooters in the region. Last night his HS career ended in a blaze of glory as Christian knocked home 6 triples, tallying 20 points overall. Unfortunately, it was not enough as Methacton loss in their District 1 playback game and their season in now over.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1379429' first='Donovan' last='Fromhartz'] </strong><strong>– 6'4″ / Sophomore / Downingtown West / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] National / Small Forward:</strong> Fromhartz is considered one of the most skilled stretch-4 prospects in SEPA's Class of 2025 and last night he showed why. In D-West's District 1-6A quarterfinal win over CB East, Fromhartz splashed 2 threes and ended a couple dribbled drives with a flush as he registered 22 points.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1460771' first='Jacob' last='Nguyen'] </strong><strong>– 6'3” / Sophomore / Spring Ford / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] National / Shooting Guard: </strong>If there is a hotter 2025 prospect in the state, we do not know about him. Nguyen's automatic three-point shooting continued last night as he laced 4 triples. He also hit a few stop-n-pop jumpers in the mid-range. Nguyen's 22 points were key to SF's District 1-6A win quarterfinal win last night.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1119114' first='Onyekachi' last='Nzeh'] </strong><strong>– 6'9” / Senior / George School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Power Forward:</strong> Last night in George School's PAISSA state tourney semifinal drubbing of Phelps School, Nzeh (Xavier commit) was dominant. This polished and versatile big man scored with his back to the basket, via alley-oops, on the offensive glass and by using his silky jumper. The result was an extraordinarily impressive double-double of 38 points and 15 rebounds.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1378453' first='Ruben' last='Rodriguez'] </strong><strong>– 6'1” / Senior / Reading / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL & TF Red / Wing</strong>: Friday night Rodriguez (Rider commit) got off to a fast start by scoring 16 points (2 threes) in the 1<sup>st</sup> quarter. He continued that scoring onslaught throughout Readings District 3-6A quarterfinal defeat of Chambersburg, finishing the game with 42 points. Rodriguez (2022-23 Berks Basketball League POY) has now amassed over 1,800 points in his career.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1382973' first='Alex' last='Seidman'] </strong><strong>– 6'0” / Senior / Haverford / PSB Philly / Combo Guard:</strong> Seidman helped earn Haverford a PIAA state tourney bid last night by pouring in 36 points (3 threes) in their District 1-6A playback win over Abington. Seidman is committed to Catholic University (D3) and in addition to shooting threes, Catholic is getting a guard who scores in transition and can play the point when needed.</p>
