Here’s a look at Monday’s results:
-Sioux City West (12-11) advanced to take on sixth-ranked Norwalk on Thursday after taking down Sioux City North, 69-46, on Monday. Seniorscored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the win, while classmate added 18 points.
-Johnston (11-11) topped Council Bluffs Jefferson, 78-37, on Monday setting up a Thursday’s meeting with No. 9 Sioux City East. The Dragons have been led by sophomore‘s 11.2 points per game.
-No. 10 Ankeny Centennial awaits Iowa City West (12-10) after the Trojans took down Cedar Rapids Prairie, 65-44, on Monday. Sophomorehas paced them with 17.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in ’22-23.
-Dowling Catholic (10-12) travels to No. 8 Cedar Falls Thursday as a result of the Maroons’ 84-59 victory against Fort Dodge on Monday. Seniorand IV, a junior, led the winners with 14 points apiece. Senior added 13 for Dowling.
-Muscatine (6-16) triumphed at Davenport Central, 70-59, on Monday in advancing to take No. 7 Dubuque Senior on Thursday. scored a career-best 29 points for the Muskies, while fellow sophomore matched a career-best by scoring 26.
-On the other half of the bracket, Pleasant Valley (17-5) will take on rival Bettendorf Thursday after the Spartans defeated Dubuque Hempstead, 79-52. Seniorhas led them with 12.3 points per game this season.
-Davenport West (13-9) heads to top-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy Thursday after knocking off Davenport North, 85-46, on Monday. Juniorhas paced the Falcons with 17.6 points an outing this winter.
-Burlington (16-6) will meet up with North Scott on Thursday following the Grayhounds 81-54 victory against Clinton on Monday. Senior Merquiche Lewis Jr. has given the ‘Hounds 24.4 points a game.
-Waterloo East (13-8) will be at fourth-ranked West Des Moines Valley next after eliminating Iowa City High, 80-74, on Monday. The Trojans have been led by senior‘ 19.3 points a contest this winter.
-Waterloo West awaits Cedar Rapids Washington (13-9) after the Warriors took care of Cedar Rapids Jefferson, 85-58, on Monday. They got 30 points from, a senior, and 13 points and seven rebounds from his classmate, .
-Linn-Mar (9-13) moved on to face No. 5 Indianola on Thursday with a 76-63 victory against Iowa City Liberty on Monday. Sophomorenetted 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the winners, who also received 11 points and five assists from , a junior.
-Ames awaits Ankeny (9-14) on Thursday following the Hawks’ 76-52 win Monday against Ottumwa. Juniorled them with 27 points and eight boards. added 21 points and six assists in victory.

-Dallas Center-Grimes (13-9) will be at Council Bluffs Abe Lincoln on Thursday after getting by Des Moines North, 73-63, on Monday. Juniors(12.5 PPG) and (11.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG) have led the Mustangs this season.
