Think Herro could still land a mid-major scholarship offer when all is said and done. He was a bit streaky with his shot, but still scored 15 points, which is no easy task against a team like Pewaukee, who’s not going to give up much around the rim. A crafty, smooth, and elusive guard, Herro has some impressive skill and shake on the ball. He can manipulate defenders with his eyes, change directions, and alter his speed to either get to the basket or set up a mid-range pull-up. Has a little bit of his brother’s savviness to him in the way he maneuvers in traffic and gets defenders thinking one thing only to do another. Herro can really dish the rock too. I have one of the better views on the floor and even I didn’t see some of the passes he made opening up, able to thread the needle from the top of the key and hit a moving teammate without looking.

Whitnall really made a concerted effort to neutralize Janowski. It wasn’t very often that Janowski got a touch without extra defenders in his way. I came away very impressed with how he handled double teams and moved the basketball. A very explosive scorer that often takes north of 15-20 shots per game, Janowski really picked his spots well, had an efficient effort, and showed a different side to his game. Janowski finished with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting. He also grabbed nine rebounds from the guard spot and dished out two assists. Being harassed most of the game, Janowski was still able to find ways to get to his spots and get the ball in the hole at times where the defense was draped all over him.
Luke Momcilovic – 2025 – SF – Pewaukee
Momcilovic got off to a really nice start when Pewaukee was struggling a bit offensively. The Pirates had to feel Whitnall out a bit as the Falcons did a great job keying on their two stars. Able to get some 1-on-1 matchups, Momcilovic knocked down a 3-pointer and also had a nice move with his back to the basket. Starting to come into his own, Momcilovic contributed nine points in the win. A skilled, versatile forward with a high upside, Momcilovic shows flashes of being a big mismatch problem at 6-foot-6 with some added length. In two viewings since the end of July, I continue to like the trend Momcilovic is on.
Isaiah Robinson Isaiah Robinson 6'1" | SG Pewaukee | 2025 State WI – 2025 – G – Pewaukee
Robinson played his role very well on Thursday and gave Pewaukee a nice spark. With the firepower the Pirates have offensively, it’s just not Robinson’s time to shine yet, but he still contributed seven points and when he found himself in ideal scoring opportunities, looked to capitalize. One of the better defensive teams in the state, Pewaukee also relies on Robinson to get stops. They seem to trust him on the opposition’s star players and he doesn’t give up anything easy and forces his man to take contested jumpers. Offensively, Robinson did some things where I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a double-digit scorer next season. He’s a strong, athletic guard that can shoot it from deep and pull-up in the mid-range. There’s definitely some stuff to him.
