PHD is back for another Stock Riser article. This South Dakota sophomore class is deep with talent, we had to do another article on players that are looking good this season and playing well. See below for info on 11 SD sophs!

[player_tooltip player_id='1377249' first='Jackson' last='Eisemann'] |5'11 G| Mobridge-Pollack

8-6 record, 12.9 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.7 spg. Jackson has been leading the Tigers with intensity and determination. He never gives up and is a major reason why the Tigers have won the last six games. He has become a more consistent scorer for our team. He scores from every level. Eisemann can drill 3's and he uses his speed tp beat the D and get to the rim. He seems to have a great feel for the game and is a hard worker that will only improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='1421531' first='Hayden' last='Sprik'] |5'11 G| Platte-Geddes

11-4 record and the Black Panthers are having a great season. He is a tough and scrappy defender. Sprik shoots it well from downtown. He will also get in the lane and make things happen off the bounce. Hayden has good vision and he sets up teammates for good looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406999' first='Kyle' last='Virtue'] |6'5 F| Custer

6-9 record. Virtue is tall, athletic, moves well, and is a big body. Kyle is strong at the rack and he jumps well. He finishes at the rim through rough contact. Kyle is active on the glass and he alters/blocks shots at the rim. Virtue has shown some crafty footwork around the rim and he has no trouble finishing at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1414922' first='Evan' last='Stormo'] |6'3 SF| Hamlin

12-3 record. The Chargers are having a great season. Evan has just fully returned to play after a football injury. He missed the first 10-11 games of the season. He is now working his way back into the rotation. Stormo provides a nice scoring punch, he can hit from deep and score at the rim. On D, Evan can guard 1-4. He is very athletic & versatile on both ends of the court. The Chargers are excited to have him back. Hamlin is a scary squad!

[player_tooltip player_id='1399825' first='Cole' last='Ruessink'] |5'10 G| Dell Rapids

He plays in a great program and is always improving. Cole leads the talented Quarrier JV team in scoring, rebounding, and assists. He is a stat stuffer! Ruessink is aggressive and he is a playmaker going to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1558248' first='Jamison' last='Keszler'] |5'11 G| Castlewood

13-4 record on the year. He can score in bunches, Keszler scored 16 points in the first half in a recent varsity game. On the season, Jamison is averaging 5.4 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 1.5 apg, and shooting 47 FG%. Keszler has been a great spark off the bench for the Warriors. He is capable of creating his own shot and he is a shifty ballhandler. Jamison is a knockdown shooter that spaces the floor and he creates room for his teammates to attack. Keszler has a bright future for the Warriors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1535880' first='Jack' last='Kloth'] |6'6 G| Dell Rapids

He has grown like a bad weed in the past year! The exciting part is, Kloth is not done growing. He is a great rebounder and recently had 10 blocks in a JV game. Physically, he is maturing and is growing into his body.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575041' first='Aiden' last='Fisher'] |5'9 G| Aberdeen Roncalli

9-8 record. Plays with a high hoops IQ, rarely makes a mistake, and he shoots it well. A quick athlete that makes plays on both ends. Aiden attacks and plays fast. Fisher is a nice 3pt shooter that can put up serious points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1518855' first='Carson' last='Ness'] |6'1 G| Yankton

He has improved greatly from a year ago. Physically, Ness has gotten bigger stronger and faster. Some of that came naturally from maturing and he also put in a lot of hard work in the weight room. Carson is athletic with good quickness and ball handling, he can get to the basket! His shooting has really improved and he is becoming a real threat from the outside. With his size and athleticism, Ness is able to guard very well on the perimeter. On a normal year with where he is at, Carson would be getting quality minutes at the varsity level. However, with the 3 Ryken's and a solid junior point guard ([player_tooltip player_id='1497407' first='Landon' last='Potts']) he is just on the outside looking in. With losing all three Ryken's to graduation after this season, there is no doubt that Yankton will be looking for Carson to step up and be the starting point guard next year as a junior. Ness is starting at the point in JV games and is averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists a game. Getting to go against the Ryken's every day in practice has been the best thing for Carson's development.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575064' first='Darwin' last='Gambler'] |6'3 G| Aberdeen Roncalli

9-8 record. He has a good-looking shot and is a sneaky athlete. Gambler has the athleticism and talent to make game-changing plays. He is lanky and his mobility is impressive. Darwin shares the rock and he can also make things happen when attacking the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='1407010' first='Aiden' last='Hamm'] |5'11 G| Beresford

He recently set a Watchdog record with seven made 3-pointers in a single game! His motor never slows and it is always at full tilt. The Beresford coaches can not count the number of times that coaches and fans have come up to them asking who Aidan was and that they were so impressed that he never stops playing hard. That effort and energy that Hamm brings results in him being a very solid defender. Aidan is a great verbal leader as well for the Watchdogs. The positivity he spreads and his encouragement to all of his teammates is vital to Beresford's success. Skill-wise, he is deadly from 3pt range, if he has his feet set there is a very high chance it's going in. Hamm is a leader on the team for FT percentage. The game has definitely slowed down for Aidan this past month of the season. His turnovers have gone down, and he has been another threat that teams now have to worry about besides [player_tooltip player_id='1265477' first='Tate' last='VanOtterloo'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1351868' first='Andrew' last='Atwood'].
