Chauncey Brown hit for 25 and Muhlenberg commit [player_tooltip player_id='1206543' first='Colin' last='Haluska'] added 19 as Matawan cemented itself as a Shore Conference Tournament team with a 62-55 win over Old Bridge. Football prospect Jayden Elijah, a hulking 6'7" sophomore, added a double-double(10&10) in the win.

Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1269793' first='Theo' last='Sica'] continued his strong season for Westfield as the Blue Devils scored a marquee win on the road against Clifton, 59-50. Sica has been a steadying force in the backcourt for Westfield and his expanded scoring ability has helped drive them into the contender mix in Union County and Group IV. Sophomore guard Zack Epp scored a career high 15 in the win and is a player to watch going forward for Westfield.

After coming up just short against DePaul on Wednesday, Saint Mary's of Rutherford threw the NJIC for a loop by downing Paterson Charter 74-73 on the road. [player_tooltip player_id='1401560' first='Damir' last='Stone'], a senior guard who is best known for his football prowess, exploded for 31 points on the night. Stone showed against DePaul a fearlessness in attacking the rim and poise leading the backcourt. 6'4" junior [player_tooltip player_id='1401992' first='LJ' last='Falconi'] had 13 and 6'7" junior big man [player_tooltip player_id='1456822' first='Victor' last='Torres'] added 12 in the win.

Saint Peter's Prep dominated Lyndhurst behind a double-double from senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1206534' first='Jackson' last='Tindall'](20&10) but intrigue continues in the land of Michael's Salumeria as 6'3" junior Anthony Pizzuti had a double-double of his own, going for 17&10. Pizzuti has garnered respect on the diamond but his first varsity season on the hardwood is an eye opener for all and he's got potential to continue to improve with another year to go.
