<p>Here are my top ten candidates for Class AAA Player of the Year as we head into the final five/six weeks of the 2022-23 season!</p>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='962218' first='Nasir' last='Whitlock'] of DeLaSalle (sr). The big favorite, Nasir has had some huge senior year moments, is averaging 28 a game, has his team at 18-4 and second in Class AAA at the moment. </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='1223070' first='Patrick' last='Bath'] of Totino-Grace (sr). Averaging 19 and 14 for the number one ranked Eagles. Bath has had an outstanding senior year. </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='1189958' first='Isaiah' last='Hagen'] of Orono (sr). Hagen is scoring 22 points a game for the 4th ranked team in Class AAA and is coming off a special game at Alexandria. </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='1572689' first='Jalen' last='Wilson'] of Benidle-St. Margare'ts (soph). BSM is a balanced, young team ranked third in state and playing at a high level. Wilson's 18 a game has him in that all state first team category. </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='1284138' first='Grayson' last='Grove'] of Alexandria (jr). Grove is scoring 23 points a game with 12 boards while keeping Alexandria in the top ten all season (14-4 this year). </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='962273' first='Cooper' last='Drews'] of Princeton (sr). Drews is climbing. He is averaging 25 points, 9 boards, 6 assists, and 3 steals a game for the top five Tigers. </li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='962198' first='Taison' last='Chatman'] of Totino-Grace (sr). Taison is starting to turn it up with a couple recent eye catching performances as of late. Scoring a 11 a game and climbing, Taison has the talent to go on a special run after a slow start. Time to see if he can do it like he did last year!</li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='1284214' first='Tameron' last='Ferguson'] of St. Cloud Tech (jr). Averaging 31 points a game for an 11-8 team that just beat Alexandria and is looking to go on a late season run just like they did last season. Coming off a huge win.</li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='962233' first='Matthew' last='Bothun'] of St. Francis (sr). Averaging 27 and 10 for a St. Francis team that has been on a really nice push since the calendar hit 2023. They have won 11 games (11-10), I didn't think they would hit double digits so a nice run.</li>

<li>[player_tooltip player_id='962216' first='Will' last='Underwood'] of Mahtomedi (sr). Scoring 21 a game while leading the team in every other way he can, Will has Mahtomedi at 6th in state (16-3 record).</li>
