Everyone loves playing with players that help them score the ball, and these guys are some of the best. Who wouldn’t want to play with these guys? Here’s a look at our Dime Droppers list, highlighting some of the best passers in the state.
Thomas is a pure PG that makes the correct pass and the difficult delivery look easy. The lefty’s passing includes the ability to enter into the post, hit ahead to start the break, and draw and dish. Thomas is a fundamentally sound dime dropper capable of putting up double digit assist each and every night.
Highlights
Sheets can make the spectacular pass along with the easy one. The PG has big time draw and dish ability, and seems to always be on time and on target when delivering passes on fast breaks.
Degourville is a special passer with the size to see over defenders, and the talent to fit the ball into the tiniest of spaces. He has good instincts, knowing when to get the ball out of his hands, and he’s able to throw both accurate chest and bounce passes.
Highlights
Saw Nelson last week and it took seconds to know I was going to add him to the list. An advanced passer, the junior guard is terrifc passing the ball from both a stationary position and off the bounce. He’s a creator with good PG size, that can deliver his share of jaw dropping passes.
The consumate Floor General, Haylock can distribute by draw and kicking or make the easy pass. He can make post entries, and understands how to deliver the ball on odd man advantage transition fast breaks.
He’s one of the better draw and kick guards in the state, and has a smooth ability to set up teammates. His penetration and vision allows him to see the play seemingly one frame ahead, and he uses this talent to throw teamates open, creating easy shot opportunities for them.
