Continue ReadingHarris started the game fast by getting a steal and finishing with a and one. The very next play he got another steal and went down to score. Throughout the game, he was able to consistently get in the lane and either create a shot for himself or find his teammates for open looks. He plays hard on every single play and his energy is very contagious.
Holdman is a guy that is full of energy on both ends of the floor. He is a threat from the three-point line and can also get to the basketball on call. What people don’t talk about enough is his basketball IQ and how he understands when to shot it and when to pass it. When he goes to the basket he has no problem finishing around the defender or over the top of them. Whoever decides to give him a chance at the college level will not be disappointed at all.
Ellison was a difference-maker the entire night and did a great job providing a spark for the tigers. He consistently finished around the rim whether contested or uncontested. He did a little bit of everything from rebounding and even bringing the ball up to relieve his guards of being overly pressured. He works extremely hard on the defensive end and contests shots at the rim without fouling. Throughout the game, it seemed like every time the team needed a big play to be made he was right there to make it happen.
Highlights
Cook is a big very versatile guy that can shoot the three and is a threat in the post as well. He started the game with two back-to-back buckets to get his team going and stayed consistent throughout. Being a lefty he throws the defense off balance and can be a tough guard. When the ball goes up in the air he routinely crashes the glass and gives his team second chance opportunities. On the defensive end if he is anywhere around the basketball he is most likely going to end up with the rebound.
