Early in the week, the Prospect Rankings for the 9th graders in ND were updated. We already did a Stock Riser article, but this class is so intriguing, we had to do another article. We have ten 2026 ballers to look at and we have a mix of class A and B players.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632626' first='Mason' last='Palmer'] |5'10 G| Devils Lake

You will not find a tougher competitor than Palmer! He is very skilled with the ball in his hands and can create his own shots. Mason shoots it at a high percentage. His year is going very well, Mason is leading the DL JV team in scoring. He has stepped into varsity games at times and has hit some big shots. He will need to get a little quicker to play defense at a high level for the Firebirds but all the pieces are in place for Mason to be a stud in the near future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632628' first='Parker' last='Jacobson'] |6'1 SG| Washburn

He is the primary ball handler for the Cards and is averaging 15 ppg. The Cardinals are 9-11 and Jacobson is shooting the lights out from beyond the arc. It is actually a little ridiculous! Parker has 89 made three-pointers!! ([player_tooltip player_id='1125690' first='Connor' last='Kerzmann'] led class B with 83 made 3's last year). He is currently shooting 47% from beyond the arc. Those numbers are bonkers, especially for a freshman. Jacobson is doing all of this while getting plenty of attention from the defense and he is even getting chased by some teams. He plays very well off the ball, he can pass with both hands, and is a functional ball handler. He is great at spacing the floor and finding room to get his shot off. Jacobson is a special shooter and I can not wait to see him play in AAU ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1510890' first='Dylan' last='Glasser'] |5'11 G| Dickinson

The young Glasser is a super stingy defender. He has lockdown capabilities on the perimeter. Dylan is a very good shooter but is at his best when he gets to the rim. He can also rebound on both sides of the court. Glasser is a top player in the 9th-grade class for the Midgets and he will be a serious varsity player in no time.

[player_tooltip player_id='1510889' first='Boston' last='Cranston'] |5'10 G| Dickinson

He is a walking bucket! Boston can get to the rim and finish efficiently, even though he is smaller than most of his defenders. His aggressiveness on offense is hard to contain. Cranston is very good at taking advantage of his quickness when defenders try to stop his great outside shooting. It is fair to say that Boston can score from every level. Cranston and Glasser make up a dynamic backcourt combination.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632664' first='Hudson' last='Dinger'] |6'2 F| West Fargo Sheyenne

He had a nice year on the Sheyenne freshmen team. Dinger scored with a limited amount of shots and he was efficient while doing so. He has a nose for the ball and he rebounded well all season. Hudson has good size and is a standout multisport athlete. He is a difference-maker on the defensive side of the ball. Hudson can shut down players on the wing and in the post. Keep track of this young Mustang.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541300' first='Cameron' last='Cordero'] |5'7 G| Lisbon

He plays both JV and varsity for the Broncos. Cameron may not be the biggest player on the court, but it is likely that Cordero plays with the biggest heart. He is a high NRG player that gets after it on the defensive side of the ball. Cordero anticipates well and this leads to deflections and turnovers. On offense, Cordero is aggressive off the bounce and he uses a spin move to create separation. He can hit with an effective mid-range pull-up and he scores with either hand at the rim. The Broncos have to be excited up this frosh.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541562' first='Corbyn' last='Fallingsted'] |6'4 F| Fargo South

He is certainly an intriguing athlete to keep eyes on. Fallingsted had several dunks this season on the South freshmen team. With that length and bounce, Fallingsted has plenty of potential. Fallingsted is a productive rebounder and his overall offensive game has improved this season. If he keeps growing and he stays with that upward trajectory on his skills, Corbyn will have the chance to provide a nice inside presence for the Bruins.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632700' first='Ezra' last='Robinson'] |5'6 G| Midway/Minto

He is very smart, a knockdown shooter, and a pesky defender. Ezra has taken the role of point guard for the Mustangs this year and is doing a tremendous job at leading the team as a freshman. Robinson is averaging 7.6 assists a game and has become a coach on the court. He sees the floor well and adjusts the offense to what is happening on the defensive end. Ezra's ball-handling and passing skills are very good. Ezra is a good on-ball defender who is able to match up with anyone and take the challenge. He also is a good team defender. Robinson's offense has picked up the last few games and has averaged 10.7 ppg in recent play. That may not sound like much but Midway/Minto also has a player averaging 20 ppg and the other 3 starters between 11-14 ppg for the season. Ezra is still distributing the ball but is also realizing when he is able to take his opportunities on the offensive end. His progression on the offensive end has improved the team immensely. Ezra is a hard-nosed player who leaves everything on the court. As the season progresses Robinson keeps improving. He has helped make the Mustangs more competitive and a team that can make a run in the Region 2 Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632736' first='Gabe' last='Whipple'] |5'9 G| Kindred

He will be practicing with the varsity for the rest of the season. From the beginning of the year to the end, Whipple has shown tons of growth. His main strength is his ability to get to the rim while using his athleticism to finish over kids. Gabe is also a very capable shooter that will knock down 1-2 threes a game. Whipple played C squad all year and he got moved up to JV along with two of his other teammates, [player_tooltip player_id='1332143' first='Gabe' last='Iverson'] and Kyle Cambell. Those 9th graders are really coming along nicely. Whipple is a great kid who wants to continue to get better!

[player_tooltip player_id='1632743' first='Ryland' last='Fischer'] |6'1 F| Fargo Davies

He starts at the 4 spot for the Davies freshmen A team. The Eagles took 2nd place in the EDC/Metro freshmen tourney yesterday. Ryland is a hard worker that has the ability to be in the right spot to make a lot of plays on offense and defense. Fischer will need to work on his shooting. He currently stands out as a defender and as a productive rebounder.
