First off you have no idea what the heck he is going to do or what move he is going to throw at you. Max has a quick release and he will catch and shoot even when contested. He can use his strength and those broad shoulders to get through defenders and get to the rim. He rebounds well and gets those back up quickly from all over the floor. His relocation skills are elite. He finishes with the right and the left and he has range so if you do not play the pick n’ roll right he will get you.
MOTOR! MOTOR! MOTOR! This kid can go and he is always in attack mode, he is bouncing around on defense, he is always in rotation, he is talking, he is just always active on both ends of the floor. He can create offense with his defense. Quentin has been a big time rebounding guard that can get up and down the floor in a hurry. He will stop and pop on a fast break and he will find ways to score. He has unlimited range and that athleticism and creativity is really starting to pop.
This is not the first year that Hunter has been a handful but last year he was tough to defend as well. I do not think he gets enough credit for his athletic ability. He is constantly on the move that he seems to be everywhere. If you relax he will get you. Such a quick release and he can get his footwork right so quickly. It is an understatement that he scores in a hurry.
Hand down, man down for sure as Dutch has some superior footwork and body control as he lights it up from deep. I think he has to be the player that gets face-guarded the most in the state and for good reason, but he still pouts up crazy numbers. Dutch moves well but he just has some good size as a shooter and he can dominate smaller guards because they do not bother his line of sight. He is tough guard as we have watched him develop over the years and this year his scoring has really matured.
One of the toughest three-level scorers. He hits you with all sort of moves and he has length, strength and skills to go along with that toughness. When his motor is one you are in-trouble. Chudi works hard to get to the rim. He relocates and he is the player that can ruin the scouting report because he takes what the defense gives him. Shoots the ball well to sag off. He has a quick step so you can’t play too high. If you get physical he will draw fouls, if you play soft he will initiate contact.
