Conner Shaw (5’9, G, Cornerstone Christian Academy, 2023)
Shaw has been a problem for defenses since I first watched him last season. He’s a tough, scrappy guard that plays the game with pace and a chip on his shoulder. Conner has averaged 24 points per game over the course of January due to his ability be lethal behind the arc and poised enough to finish through contact at the rim and he shows no signs of slowing down!
Seth Pratt Seth Pratt 6'3" | SG Memorial | 2023 State OK (6’3, SG, Memorial High School, 2023)
Smooth! if you needed a word to describe Pratt, “smooth” is it. A big guard that is excellent at getting to his spots to score the ball, whether it’s off the dribble or off-ball movement. Pratt has a dangerous ability to take over games at will especially when he’s in rhythm. Nothing is ever forced in his game, he keeps things under control and handles pressure well. Pratt is a two-way guard that is looking to be a handful for opponents going into this final stretch!
Nathan Coleman (6’3, G, Mingo Valley Christian High School, 2023)
Coleman is not the man to leave open behind the arc! Nathan is shooting a solid 32% from the 3pt line and is light outs from the corner. This month he’s been getting versatile and finding multiple ways to score at the rim and keep the defense guessing. He is the heart and soul of this Mingo Valley Program and is looking to lead them to a strong finish this season!
Myles Strain (6’0, G, Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, 2023)
Motor, drive, grit, are all words you can use to describe Strain and the way he plays the game. Strain has shown much growth from last season stepping up as a solid scoring option for the Crusaders. Myles is most lethal in transition and nearly unstoppable when he’s getting downhill with an artillery of moves to finish around the rim. Strain is peaking at the right time which will be beneficial for the team and ultimately for himself.
Montae Collins Montae Collins 5'11" | PG Memorial | 2023 State OK (5’10, G, Memorial High School, 2023)
Collins is a high IQ guard with a tight handle and great vision. A pass-first point guard with the capability to lead and facilitate the game simply by his capability deliver to his teammates in spots where they can score. Collins backs down to no one from getting scrappy on defense with the big man down low, to attacking the rim and finishing strong amongst the trees! With Montae on the floor, the Chargers are in a position to make a deep push in this final stretch of the season!
