It's been a long time coming for North Cobb, their 2023 class finally of age. [player_tooltip player_id='820281' first='Evan' last='Daniel'] is popping up left and right on college radars as a smooth 6-foot-7 lefty capable of scoring inside and out. [player_tooltip player_id='1201690' first='Damonte' last='Pellot'] is one of the better unsigned senior guards in Georgia, a quality prospect at 6-foot-3 with his ability to get downhill, defend and hit the pull-up. [player_tooltip player_id='1426113' first='Gio' last='Harris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1511204' first='Terrell' last='Reeves'] provide length on defense while seniors Mekhi Sherman and [player_tooltip player_id='1050124' first='Jalan' last='Johnson'] are sneaky good when it comes to hitting big shots.

Throw out the first month of the season as Mill Creek awaited their football players. Since December 12, the Hawks are 10-4. [player_tooltip player_id='1350894' first='Trajen' last='Greco'] paces a lethal backcourt with running mate [player_tooltip player_id='1773550' first='Jonathan' last='Taylor']. The Hawks have dynamic size and versatility between 6-foot-6 [player_tooltip player_id='1595928' first='Nate' last='Eroh'] and 6-foot-7 man-child [player_tooltip player_id='1773549' first='Stephen' last='Akwiwu']. The Hawks will be battle-tested coming out of Region 8 already showing they can beat multiple Top 10 teams.

Trying to play fast and match Lambert's firepower has burnt multiple teams. The veteran backcourt is led by 20-point-per-game scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1223227' first='Niko' last='Wilson'] who averaged 24 points in their two wins over Milton. [player_tooltip player_id='1361058' first='James' last='Tyre'] is a savvy playmaker and Keenan Gagen is a dangerous perimeter scorer. The youth of [player_tooltip player_id='1773562' first='Cameron' last='Bland'] and 6-foot-4 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1543514' first='William' last='Dopfer'] blends in nicely. When the Longhorns turn to the press, they can fluster some of the best ball handlers.
