A standout at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo in the fall, Suleiman has been one of the top scorers in the suburban league for the past couple seasons. I was impressed with the scoring ability from the outside and in the paint from Suleiman and the quickness he possesses with the ball in his hands. I’d like to see him again and see how well he passes the ball in a more organized setting.
Recently setting a school record with 43 points against Napoleon, Bays makes his debut in the 2024 rankings. A standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer, Bays was one of the top guards on Hopson Elite’s 16 U squad. Bays is a solid athlete, shoots a smooth ball and has good vision. Bays is one of the top guards from the Toledo area in the class of 2024.
Highlights
Wearing the same jersey as Gahanna legend Sean Jones, Reynald has been a steady force from the point guard spot for a new look Gahanna squad. I like the quickness of Reynald, his ability to get downhill and make plays for his teammates. Reynald has been one of the more productive guards in the OCC this season and should be even better as a senior.
Clay went off at the NEO Christmas Classic and Berea Midpark is one of the highest scoring teams in Division I across the entire state. Clay was showing off a diverse scoring arsenal with off the dribble 3-pointers, looks at the rim and floaters. I was really impressed with the pace that the Titans played with and Clay is the guy who helps them play as fast as they do.
Another member of Hopson Elite’s 16 U squad, Brenneman and Toledo Central Catholic have been very impressive this season. Not going to fill up the box score, Brenneman makes an impact by doing the small things well. A good defender, plays hard, makes the easy pass and a leader on the court, the intangibles that Brenneman brings helps his team win no matter the situation.
