We checked out the championship game between Cascia hall vs victory Christian and here’s what we came up with analyzing the all-tournament team mixed in with the championship game.
Jyson Kim Jyson Kim 6'4" | SG Cascia Hall Preparatory School | 2025 State OK (All-Tournament Team, Cascia Hall 2025)- Jyson Kim Jyson Kim 6'4" | SG Cascia Hall Preparatory School | 2025 State OK led the championship game with a game-high 22 points leading both teams in scoring. Jyson had his hands full guarding the 3-star recruit Chris Mason Chris Mason 6'6" | PF Victory Christian | 2024 State OK while trying to score on the offensive end for his team. Cascia Hall came up short but Jyson was nothing short of impressive for how he handled the spotlight. From his quick release and laser shooting, elite finishing ability through traffic, and high IQ on the defensive end, you can only imagine what you will see in the next 2 years from him.
Mason Shiflet (All-Tournament Team, Cascia Hall 2023)- Mason, making all tournament team is as aggressive as they come when he’s on the court. From his ability to change his pace and get downhill to finish at the rack, or make the defense pay for leaving him open, he’s always on attack mode. Defensively he has to be one of the best help side defenders you’ll see.
Damarie Davis (All tournament Team, Berryhill 2023)- Davis isn’t extremely tall but plays extremely strong. Damarie averaged 20+ points and 10+ rebounds all tournament and you can expect it all season long. His knack for the ball allows him to chase down the rebound or time it perfectly off the glass. His scoring ability is so elite because he can stretch the floor or bully his way through the paint to finish. Expect to see his recruitment pick up a little bit.
Chris Mason Chris Mason 6'6" | PF Victory Christian | 2024 State OK (MVP, Victory Christian 2024)- Mason what looked like he started off to a slow start in the championship game, he finished with 14 points to secure his team the win against a good Cascia hall team. Chris not only scored himself with those fierce dunks but setting his teammates up as well allowing them to get going from the 3 point line.
Michael Doctor Michael Doctor 6'2" | CG Victory Christian | 2024 State OK (All-tournament team, Victory Christian 2024)- Michael does a little bit of everything from that guard spot for Victory. Doctor does a good job of finishing at the rim, rebounding for his team, making the right read with his passing and defending the ball.
Caleb Farquhar (Victory Christian 2023)- Caleb might’ve been the X-Factor for this championship game scoring 21 points in his championship win against Cascia Hall. He caught fire early and continued it all game long. Every time Cascia helped off of him he made sure to make them pay and knock down the 3 pointer. Don’t run him off the line because he got to he free throw line and converted a few and ones as well. Farquhar was the leading scorer for his Victory Christian team.
