Enis and Miami East are having an excellent season, with only one loss in overtime to a good Division I opponent. Enis is a big time athlete and his highlight tape is very intriguing. Enis is putting up huge numbers and helping his team win, which is why he makes a small climb up the rankings. I expect Division II schools to take a strong interest in Enis this spring and summer.
Giles is another guard putting up crazy scoring numbers in the Cleveland Senate league with some big-time games so far this season. Giles had an impressive summer with the Ohio Rebels and has continued his high level of play this winter. It will be interesting to see which schools prioritize Giles this spring and summer as he seems like a sleeper to those outside the northeast Ohio area.
Casenhiser recently broke his school’s single game all-time scoring record with 45 points against Massillon Perry. Casenhiser was also a standout at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo in the Fall. With Casenhiser’s scoring ability and willingness to play defense is a good combo for a guard to be recruited.
Mentor has had an up and down season, but the Cardinals can flat out score the basketball and Biddell is one of their most talented guards. Biddell plays with good pace and can shoot it at a high level off the bounce. I think Mentor has a chance to make a deep playoff run once again with the Ioppolo twins, Biddell and some other impressive role pieces.
