The event featured some of the top teams and talent in Southern California. With eight showcase games, the event gave each team a final warmup before league play begins for most of them. I was able to attend the event and here’s a look at some of the top wings I saw.

Jones was one of the most impressive wings at the event. He showed off his incredible athleticism and ability to finish strong at the basket. He also showed off his ability to handle the ball and make plays off the dribble. His slashing game was solid and he was able to knife his way through the defense and get himself easy scoring opportunities in the paint. He also looked comfortable with his outside shoot and being able to knock down three’s off the catch. Defensively, he has the tools to be solid with his length and quickness.

Spillman is a player who impresses me each time I’ve watched him play. He’s a big guard who uses his strength well to muscle his way to the basket and finish strong. He can handle the ball and is comfortable creating his own shot. He has a nice shooting touch from the perimeter too; able to consistently shoot from three-point range. He has some playmaking to his game as well, very unselfish and able to find the open teammate on drive and kicks or from the high post seeing cutters.

Adams is one of the top players in City Section with his versatility. He’s got the size and strength as a big man but he uses his guard-like abilities to be a tough matchup for opposing defenses. He is comfortable handling the ball and creating his own shot. He often plays as a power forward or center in Narbonne’s lineups and he can attack opposing bigs off the dribble. He can shoot off the dribble and he can attack the basket. Active around the rim and able to be a physical presence on the glass.
4. Chace Holley – Lynwood 2026
Holley can certainly score the ball and is able to put up points in a hurry. When I’ve seen him play, he is able to play both guard positions. He does well off-ball playing alongside another ball-handler and he can handle the ball and run the offense. He has consistent range out to the three-point line and can knock them down off the catch. He can also put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. Only a freshman but has some solid upside.
