Kairee Gadson Kairee Gadson 6’2″ | PG Rochester Mayo | 2023 MN 2023 point guard from Rochester Mayo. The six-foot-two-inch guard who has a quick first step to get to spots, and is a crafty finisher with either hand. Shooting motion is fluid, and consistent. Athletic to finish above the rim, quick hands to get poke aways for breakaways.
Highlights
Ater Manyuon Ater Manyuon 6’4″ | SF Austin | 2023 State MN is a six-foot-four-inch 2023 Senior wing from Austin. Long, athletic, real threat in transition. Especially dangerous versus taller, slower stretch four’s in the high school game. Length makes him a versatile defender allowing him to defend multiple positions. He is a dynamic finisher, especially above the rim, can be an idle 3 and D wing.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6’7″ | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN is a six-foot-five-inch 2024 Junior wing from Rochester Century High School. Lefty shooter, but finishes around the rim with either hand. Improving ball handler, and shot creator, as evidenced by his improvement to score more than 20 points a game (3 times so far 2022-23). He is solid in transition with fluid movements, and using his ball handling skills.
Highlights
Hunter Lorenson Hunter Lorenson 6’0″ | PG Lake City | 2024 State MN is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2024 guard from Lake City high school. Lorenson has what seems to be an automatic pull-up jumper in the mid-range that he gets off with a right to left crossover dribble. Lorenson has helped Lake City to an undefeated start at 11-0 being the lead guard in their offensive game. Lorenson is a level-headed lead guard, takes charge, and is an excellent worker.
Colton Benson Colton Benson 6’5″ | SF New Ulm | 2024 State MN is a six-foot-three-inch Junior from New Ulm high school. The 2004 forward is scoring the basketball at a high rate of 29.5 points-per-game. Benson does it with his excellent outside shot, where he’s made at least 42 3-pointers so far this year. Needless to say, don’t leave him open. Benson does a good job releasing the ball quickly, even with defenders’ hands in his face, his jump shot is very confident.
Buay Koak Buay Koak 6’4″ | SG Lyle-Pacelli | 2023 State MN is a six-foot-four-inch wing from Lyle High school. The 2023 Senior used length, quickness and speed on the defensive end to be a versatile force. He utilizes length to block shots but also speed to close on unsuspecting shooters. Uses quickness to take charges versus guards. Koak is springy enough to finish above the rim, on the break or inside, and stretches the floor well with his behind the arc jumper.
Keegan Ryan Keegan Ryan 6’2″ | SF Lake City | 2024 State MN is a six-foot-four-inch guard turning into a wing from Lake City high school. The 2024 Junior is excelling in ways previously not for the undefeated Tigers. For example versus Minneapolis North Ryan scored 16 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and blocked 8 shots in their narrow 1-point victory. His blocks came as a primary defender numerous times as well doing a good job moving his feet and staying in front of his opponent. Ryan has a smooth shooting motion, he can finish lay-ups with either hand, and is a solid passer.
