We took a trip to The Castle at Pittsburgh Central Catholic this evening to watch the Vikings defeat Pine-Richland 60-44 while playing without senior star [player_tooltip player_id='991365' first='Dante' last='DePante']. Who stepped up?

A senior who makes his name as a catch and shoot player, Wilkerson was one of the main facilitators tonight and not only found open players for easy buckets but also created shots of his own while still hitting his favorite shot--the catch and shoot three in the corner. Wilkerson had a banner contest at both ends of the floor to lead the Vikings. He finished with 16 to lead the way.

TK has been an unsung player for several years at PCC and is coming into his own as a senior. With DePante out, he stepped up in a big way on both ends. He had 13 points, handled and facilitated with absolute confidence and was also very tough on the press, creating havoc and turnovers that led to points in transition. One of the best performances of Tommy's career tonight.

Cole Sullivan | F | PCC 2024

Central really needed some help in the frontcourt last year and lacked the depth of physical players. Sullivan, a heralded football recruit, fills that need. He's a legit 6'4"-220 and plays a very physical game in the low post. He's got good footwork and can also defend on the perimeter in addition to bodying up forwards in the paint. He and 6'6" senior [player_tooltip player_id='1284792' first='Debaba' last='Tshiebwe'] were simply too much to handle under the basket for an undersized, guard heavy Pine team. He's going to be a major leader for them next season.

Emory Moye | G | Pine Richland 2025

A shining light for Pine in the defeat was the sophomore guard. He can create shots off the bounce and has a nice quick and high release on his shots. He's a confident ballhandler who will likely team up with freshmen Grant Spacciapolli and [player_tooltip player_id='1406917' first='Eli' last='Catalano'] to form a solid backcourt trio the next few seasons for the Rams.
