Ty Barlow Ty Barlow 5'6" | PG Weequahic | 2026 State NJ , 5’6 PG Weequahic 2026
Barlow had a big performance as he scored a team-high 26 points. The 5’6 guard used his handle to beat his defender off the bounce as he was able to get into the paint throughout the game. Barlow knocked down four triples and shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc. He was not rattled by on-ball pressure and found his teammates in the half court. Barlow is a quick floor general who has five 20-point games in his debut varsity season.
Peyton Miller Peyton Miller 6'1" | PG St. Peter's Prep | 2025 State NJ , 5’10 PG St. Peter’s Prep 2025
Miller provided a spark off the bench for the Marauders as he scored 13 points. The 5’10 guard showed his nice shooting stroke as he wasted little motion and set his feet before he shot. Miller used his quickness to beat his defender off the bounce and finished around the basket. He ran the offense effectively and was able to get deflections on the defensive end. Miller is a talented point guard whose ability to run the offense and knock down shots from distance will be key for St. Peter’s Prep in February and March.
Deon Jackson, 6’3 F St. John Vianney 2025
Jackson had a strong game for the Lancers as he poured in a career-high 14 points. The 6’3 forward was able to get position down low and was unafraid of drawing contact. Jackson showed off a nice touch on his free throws and knocked down a triple behind the arc. He worked hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and did a good job on the defensive end. Jackson is a hard-working forward prospect who is unafraid of doing the dirty work for St. John Vianney.
David Ekhelar David Ekhelar 6'8" | C Newark East Side | 2025 State NJ , 6’8 F/C Newark East Side 2025
Ekhelar may have only scored three points in the game for the Red Raiders, but his presence was throughout the game. The 6’8 post was active on the glass as he kept offensive possessions alive for them. Ekhelar ripped down rebounds on the defensive end and used his length to influence shots on defense. He set good screens in the half court and worked hard to get position down low. Ekhelar’s ability to control the paint is something that will he key for Newark East Side in the state and county tournaments.
Ryan Goldman Ryan Goldman 6'3" | SG Ramapo | 2025 State NJ , 6’2 SG Ramapo 2025
Goldman had a solid game for the Raiders off the bench as he provided them with a spark in the first quarter. The 6’2 guard showed a quick release on his jumper and shot the ball without hesitation. Goldman moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers in the half court. He made good decisions with the ball in his hands and slid his feet on the defensive end. Goldman’s ability to knock down shots off the bench helps Ramapo nicely as the Raiders look to repeat as sectional champions.
