In a separate article, I will be talking about a few prospects that are heading to the D3 ranks. But, for this article, I will be talking about two prospects that are going to be playing D1 basketball at the next level.
First, let’s start with Lucius Gibson-Savadel who will be taking his talents to Fairfield to play for Sacred Heart. At the moment, he plays for Millbrook School and has improved in each of his seasons with the program. Last season, he really jumped onto the scene. He was a key contributor on a team that made a deep postseason run. He’s earned conference honors once, and he’s currently projected to do so once again after the conclusion of this season. When he’s not competing with Millbrook, he’s a highly-impactful player on an incredibly talented PSA Cardinals program that has seen numerous standouts go to college after successful Nike EYBL runs.
The other player worth mentioning is Kahlil Singleton. At the moment, Singleton is playing for Scotland Campus but he initially began his high school career in Washington with Fort Vancouver. After taking the trip to Loomis Chaffee and reclassifying for 2023, Singleton decided to make the transition to play for the highly-decorated Scotland Campus that has produced numerous collegiate stars from the New England area. And, with that being said, Singleton is hoping to be the next with Holy Cross. Singleton is an elite scorer, and oftentimes flashes high-impact and 3-level scoring. He does this year round, including with The House We Built, on the Hoop Group circuit.
Overall, both Gibson-Savadel and Singleton are looking to put their stamp on their respective programs and continue making progress with their future programs. The future is incredibly bright for both.
