Tameron has been putting up huge numbers this season for St. Cloud Tech. He’s taken on a much bigger scoring load and has excelled with his ability to get into the lane for floaters as well as knock down threes. Ferguson is a threat to put up 30 on any given night but also has the ability to consistently find his open shooters. Defensively he excels at jumping passing lanes to get out in transition.
Lewis is such a crafty player and has stepped up for a Caledonia team that lost a lot to graduation. He has a dangerous short/mid-range jumper with the ability to stop, pivot, and elevate to get his shot off over defenders. Has excellent body control around the rim to finish in a variety of ways as well. Through four games in December he was putting up and impressive 18 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.8 steals per game.

There’s another King coming through the ranks at Caledonia, and after seeing occasional minutes at the varsity level as a freshman, Mason has taken on a much bigger role. He’s a major threat from beyond the arc with a smooth release and no shortage of confidence. Really fluid athlete when he puts the ball on the floor with the ability to weave in and out of defenders on his way to the rim.
The high flying junior is worth the price of admission. He’s such an explosive athlete who loves to pressure the ball on defense, can force steals, then accelerate down the floor for high flying dunks. In the half-court he changes directions incredibly quick and has a nice hesitation move to stop his defender before blowing right by. Improved jumper helps him stretch the floor out for his team and forces defenders to guard him tighter.

The D1 football commit is a physical presence inside that not every team has the size to match. He can overpower opposing forwards for buckets at the rim, but also has a smooth stroke to step out and knock down threes. Has really impressed this season with his ability to knock down outside shots and be a consistent scoring threat for a pretty well balanced North team.
After facing off against one talented big last night, Chiang will have another test in the paint against West Salem. At 6’8 he has long arms and a quick burst off the floor that makes him a major shot blocking threat. Runs the floor hard in transition and has begun expanding his game out to beyond the arc in the half-court. This year I’ve liked his scrappiness inside fighting for rebounds and also tipping out his teammates’ misses to keep possessions alive for his team.

Warsame started to make a name for himself in some fall leagues, and has developed into a key player for Tech this season. He has plenty of length on the wing at 6’4 and is a dangerous shooter who has to be accounted for at all times. Defensively his length will be needed to help defend against a big Waunakee team out of Wisconsin.
