The Jimmy V Showcase was a great event as teams across the Shore Conference competed along with Rutgers Prep, Cherokee and Egg Harbor. Players had standout performances as they helped their teams in key spots. Here are the standouts from the Jimmy V Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='902756' first='Jadin' last='Collins'], 6'0 PG Rutgers Prep 2023

Collins had a standout performance for the Argonauts as he fell two assists shy of a triple-double. The Marist commit used his quick first step and tight handle to get into the paint at will and was unafraid of drawing contact. Collins played with poise throughout the game as he was not rattled by the on-ball pressure and finished through contact. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and played with great anticipation on the defensive end. Collins is a two-way lead guard prospect who plays with a motor that doesn't stop on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1013066' first='Respect' last='Tyleek'], 6'2 CG Jackson Memorial 2023

Tyleek stuffed the stat sheet for the Jaguars as he was instrumental in their win. The 6'2 guard was electric with the ball in his hands as he slithered into the lane and finished nicely around the basket. Tyleek shot the ball with confidence as he knocked down a triple early in the game and had a nice release on his free throws. He made several nice passes throughout the game and used his quick hands to generate steals on the defensive end. Tyleek carried the load for Jackson Memorial, making them a dangerous team to watch in the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1484345' first='Delani' last='Hyde'], 6'6 PF Toms River North 2023

Hyde had a strong showing for the Mariners as he displayed his ability to hurt opponents at both ends of the floor. The lanky 6'6 forward showed his shooting touch early as he knocked down four threes in the game, including three in the opening half. Hyde was able to find space for himself within the offense and was able to draw contact down low. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his length to alter shots around the rim. Hyde's combination of size, shooting and length is something that makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2023 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1017198' first='DJ' last='Germann'], 5'11 PG Egg Harbor 2023

Germann had a big game for the Eagles as the Hornets had trouble stopping him all game. The 5'11 guard used his tight handle to blow by his defender as he lived in the paint all game. Germann finished in a variety of ways around the basket and drew contact consistently. He set his teammates up nicely in the half court and played good on-ball defense. Germann has been the leading man for Egg Harbor this season and it should continue in the county and postseason tournaments.

[player_tooltip player_id='1400496' first='Josh' last='Michigan'], 6'4 SG Brick Memorial 2023

Michigan did a little bit of everything for the Mustangs as he showed his versatility throughout the game. The 6'4 guard has a good release on his jumper and shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Michigan did more than just shoot as he also attacked the basket and finished through contact at the rim. He showed a good handle and displayed good leadership throughout the game. Michigan's steady presence on the floor is something that will benefit Brick Memorial in a big way in the postseason.

Other Prospects to Know:

[player_tooltip player_id='1150538' first='Jamil' last='Wilkins'], 6'1 SG Egg Harbor 2023

[player_tooltip player_id='902736' first='Isaac' last='Hester'], 6'0 PG Ranney 2023

[player_tooltip player_id='1035693' first='Franklin' last='Jones'], 6'5 W Rutgers Prep 2023

[player_tooltip player_id='1150533' first='Connor' last='Howard'], 6'3 St. John Vianney 2023

[player_tooltip player_id='1470873' first='Dorian' last='Alston'], 6'5 W Brick Memorial 2023
