Brant Jackson – Alamosa – 2024
Jackson brings a versatile offensive skillset to the guard position, standing roughly 6’4. The senior guard is one of the leading scorers and rebounders in the Intermountain League, a testament to his work ethic. Through Alamosa’s dominant 13-1 season, Jackson has posted 14.1 points and 6.7 rebounds
Colt Lewis – Pagosa Springs – 2025
Although only a sophomore, Lewis truly plays above his age as decisionmaker. The 5’9 guard is always aggressive attacking the basket downhill, although he stays in control to make smart reads. Lewis has a notably great two man game with fellow forward Kayson Shahan. Should help approach, Lewis stays ready to make the dump off pass. Through his sophomore season, the guard has put up 7.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.
Blake Laner – Pagosa Springs – 2024
Laner brings a aggressive mindset, battling in the paint and seeking out contact. Through his junior season with 13-2 Pagosa Springs, Laner has posted 14.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game. He stays ready in the short mid-range for jump shots or to immediately attack the closeout. Although often attacking right by the baseline, Laner is not fazed under tight windows. The 6’2 guard also stays ready to make those corner kick out passes.
Kayson Shahan – Pagosa Springs – 2023
Shahan works on the little things to set up the perimeter players, through hard screen setting and a quick pace of play. The 6’4 forward has gone through his season posting 11.1 points and 6 rebounds per game. Shahan does well sealing off defenders on screens, facilitating driving lanes for teammates or opening up a post up for himself.
Jackson Queen – Bayfield – 2023
Queen is up among the top scorers in the Intermountain league, however he is equally effective making passes to teammates. Standing right around 6’1, Queen is an electric guard within the fast break due to his quick decisionmaking. Through his season with Bayfield, the senior has posted 16.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game while knocking down 39% of triples.
Lance Mazur – Bayfield – 2023
Although not showing up on the stat sheet, Mazur is a talented passer. The 6′ senior guard is dependable finding cutters and rollers through tight windows, often threading it past multiple defenders. Through his final year at Bayfield, the guard has posted 10.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Lincoln Williams – Bayfield – 2025
The lone sophomore on Bayfield’s varsity group, Williams is a noteworthy perimeter shotmaker. Williams has demonstrated upside as a pull-up shooter inside the mid-range, typically coming within a couple dribbles. Through his season with 6-8 Bayfield, the 5’9 guard has averaged 4.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game while knocking down 45% of two point attempts. Although undersized, Williams puts in extra effort on the defensive end, showing a willingness to dive for loose balls.
