New Names for Updated POY Watch List:
Jaren Morton Jaren Morton 6'5" | SG SCH Academy | 2023 State PA – 6’5” / Senior / SCH Academy / SJ Hoops Elite / Shooting Guard: This Swiss Army knife prospect owns versatility that is off the charts. His foot speed, vertical leap, and ability to play through contact enable Morton (10.2 ppg.; 40% 3PM) to thrive in the transition game. In a slower, half-court contest, Morton can drain threes or blow by a defender with his handles. With his unique physical assets, Morton is a beast on the glass (6.5 rpg.) and can guard multiple positions. His noteworthy games for 2022-23 include 23 points (5 threes) and 11 boards against Rocktop Academy as well as 16 pts. (4 triples) vs. St. John’s (Wash., DC).
Luke Rasmussen Luke Rasmussen 6'6" | PF Haverford School | 2023 State PA – 6’6″ / Senior / Haverford School / East Coast Power / Wing: Rasmussen (12 ppg. & 6.3 rpg.) can dominate a game in a multitude of ways. He can score at the tin, splash triples, and convert on second chance opportunities. Rasmussen is a long prospect with the physical maturity to absorb contact in the paint and still score. On defense he can clean the glass and at times block shots. His poise and composure in intense those moments are also noteworthy. This season Rasmussen has posted a 16 and 10 double-double vs. Germantown Academy as well 18 pts vs. Peddie (NJ) and 18 pts (4 threes) against Friends Select.
Bryce Rollerson Bryce Rollerson 5'11" | PG Germantown Academy | 2025 State PA – 5’11” / Sophomore / Germantown Academy / Eastern PA Elite / Point Guard: Rollerson (21 ppg.) has excelled in his new role as GA’s scoring point guard. He has proven that he can get buckets at all three-levels, but it is his mid-range game that continues impress us the most. Plus, he still possesses excellent court vision and a team first mindset, so he will distribute with precision when facing double teams. His high scoring games from this season include 33 points vs. SCHA; 27 vs. LaSalle and 23 against Haverford School.
Kai Shinholster Kai Shinholster 6'5" | SG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #133 Nation PA – 6’3″ / Sophomore / Penn Charter / K-Low Elite / Shooting Guard: PC’s roster is loaded with DI prospects and yet this sophomore has carved out a key role for himself as a high motor, “3 and D” perimeter player. Shinholster is torching the nets from deep on his way to averaging 13 ppg. When he is chased off the arc, Shinholster can get to the rim off the bounce and then finish with either hand. He is also adept at slashing to the hoop for a catch and lay-in. Shinholster’s benchmark performance so far this season came when he posted 28 points (6 threes) vs. Archbishop Wood. Additionally, he registered 17 points (3 threes) vs. Frankford and 17 points (2 triples) against GFS. Shinholster holds offers from Hofstra, UTEP and Robert Morris.
