– 2025 – SF – Nicolet
I don’t think there’s any doubt that this is the best player in Wisconsin’s sophomore class right now. Best prospect? Time will tell. Hannah scored 21 points and had the game-winning free throw with 3.4 seconds left. The athletic, versatile wing didn’t have his best game, but battled through foul trouble and some shots around the rim he’d like to get back. Loved that Hannah never let it get to his head and was able to turn things up a notch when Nicolet needed it, hitting another gear at various points in the second half. You also saw Hannah rally his team and pick them up when it looked like Dominican was going to pull away at times. Hannah needs to show some more confidence in his jumper, but his ability to slither into tight spaces, take on multiple defenders, and finish against contact is borderline elite nationally.

Johnson was quiet for most of the game, but when he woke up, the junior guard started going off in the second half. Finishing with 15 points, Johnson started launching shots and connecting at a high rate. Johnson was able to shake off a cold spell, which can be very difficult in-game. One of the top shooters in his class, Johnson has in-the-gym range and a very quick trigger. Although he’s a terrific shooter, Johnson is going to play a lot on the ball and survey the defense as a floor general. Johnson has pretty good size at 6-foot-2, doesn’t make mistakes with the basketball, and provides a steady floor presence.
Damon Landrum Jr. – 2024 – SF – Nicolet
Thought Landrum was the biggest x-factor for Nicolet on Wednesday. Dominican was imposing its will early. Landrum connected on two 3-pointers and had a transition bucket to get the Knights back in it. With Hannah in foul trouble, Landrum started looking for his shot more and kept things afloat. Landrum is listed at 6-foot-1, but plays closer to 6-foot-4. A strong, athletic wing that’s also a two-way player, Landrum chipped in with 13 points, including three triples in the first half. His steal and score in the second half was a key play during Nicolet’s comeback.

Think Martin is going to be one of the biggest risers in the 2024 class. The junior guard is really growing on me and developing his all-around game as a scorer. You used to see Martin set up on the perimeter and look for catch-and-shoot 3’s. He’s now a threat on the ball, able to use his strong frame to move defenders and create space and also has some surprising wiggle and shake in the mid-range. If he can’t get a defender on his hip, really like Martin’s ability and willingness to play off two feet, compose himself, and try and get a defender off his feet, rather than playing out of control and just throwing something up at the rim. Martin, who scored 16 points, also took two charges in the final six minutes during Wednesday’s loss. He also created for his teammates well in the pick n’ roll and was able to shred Nicolet’s zone a bit with the pass.

Womack got off to a great start, scoring eight quick points out of the gate, including a pair of triples where he just sized his man up and shot over the top. 3-point shooting is Womack’s calling card. He’s got the green light whenever he touches the rock, but there’s a lot of untapped potential here. A long, lanky 6-foot-6 wing who shows flashes as a defender and a creator on the ball, Womack has a chance to be an almost positionless and well-rounded threat. He’s gotta get stronger and fill out that frame, but in a year or two, we could be talking about one of the elite prospects in Wisconsin’s loaded 2025 class given his measurables. Womack finished with a team-high 19 points in Wednesday’s loss.
