After debuting the Class of 2026 rankings and updating our Class of 2025 rankings, this week we have turned our attention to the Class of 2024. If you haven’t already, make sure you take a look at the revamped rankings that feature a Top 150 plus over 100 additional names on our Watch List. In this article we will be highlighting six prospects who made the biggest jumps in our updated rankings. We call them our Stock-Risers. These players have continued working hard at their games and made the necessary improvements to catch our eye and shoot up the Class of 2024 Top 150. Kody Clancy Kody Clancy 6'4" | PG Scottsburg | 2024 State IN (Scottsburg H.S.): Clancy is an excellent playmaker with the ball in his hands. He is very shifty, has a quick burst off of the bounce, and can score it efficiently from all three levels. The 6’3″ guard is a great overall athlete as well. Clancy is a primary reason why Scottsburg is off to their 14-2 start to the season and ranked in the Top 10 of Class 3A. Speaking of rankings, he jumped over 20 spots into the Top 50 in this prospect rankings updated. Now #49 overall in the junior class.
Evan Haywood (Brebeuf Jesuit): After a breakout summer this 6’3″ guard has continued to play at a high level into the high school season. Haywood leads 9-5 Brebeuf Jesuit in scoring at 13.9 points per game while shooting over 36% from three-point range. He is a talented offensive player with the ability to score it from all three levels. His strong play saw him climb over 60 spots from #109 to #42 overall in the most recent Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings update.
Will Jamison Will Jamison 6'0" | PG Homestead | 2024 State IN (Homestead H.S.): This guard has burst onto the scene as one of the best playmakers in Fort Wayne. Jamison leads Homestead in scoring at 16.5 points per game for the 14-4 Spartans. He has extremely quick in a straight line to the rim, has a tight handle, and finishes extremely well at the end of his drives. His ranking jumped from #97 to #46 overall in the updated Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings. Incredibly talented playmaker.
Wiatt McLaughlin Wiatt McLaughlin 6'1" | SG Whiteland | 2024 State IN (Whiteland H.S.): McLaughlin is having a fantastic junior season averaging 16.6 points per game to lead Whiteland. The 6’1″ athletic guard is an excellent scorer off of the bounce consistently getting to the rim and showcasing a smooth mid-range jump shot. He saw his ranking jump over 20 spots from #67 to #43 overall in the updated Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings.
Jack Miller Jack Miller 6'5" | SG Scottsburg | 2024 State IN (Scottsburg H.S.): Miller has a ton of upside as a 6’3″-6’4″ guard with a versatile offensive skill set and good defensive instincts. He has a smooth jumper, has the size to finish at the rim, and has the ball handling ability to serve as a secondary playmaker. He continues to improve on both ends of the floor and is a big reason why Scottsburg is 14-2 and ranked in the Top 10 of Class 3A. Miller improved from #62 to #48 overall in the updated Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings.
Robert Sorensen Robert Sorensen 6'0" | PG Guerin Catholic | 2024 State IN (Guerin Catholic): In terms of pure scoring ability, Sorensen is one of the more talented guards in Indiana’s junior class. He is a good outside shooter, but at his best when attacking the basket off of the dribble. He has a quick first step, good strength to take on contact while he drives it, and is a high level finisher for his size. Sorensen is averaging a team-leading 12.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for Guerin Catholic. He is ranked ranked #44 overall in the class, up 13 spots from #57.
