<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are halfway through the senior seasons for 2023 prospects across the state.&nbsp; PHI has unveiled our mid-season rankings update for the 2023 class.&nbsp; We break down the class including right here in <strong>2023 Top Available Wings</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1048324' first='Daniel' last='Johnson'] (Whitney Young)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #13</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson has been the go to player for one of the state's premier teams and programs.&nbsp; Three and D wing that has shown some flashes of improvement off the bounce.&nbsp; What you have to like about Johnson is how he has stepped up when needed for the Dolphins as they needed a go to scorer and he has done just that while also increasing his production on the glass.&nbsp; Good three point shooter that can defend multiple positions on the perimeter.&nbsp; Mid-majors and low-majors this is your top choice!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='939056' first='Bryce' last='Coleman'] (Proviso East)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #33</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coleman is a big and strong small forward that brings versatility being able to even play some small ball four in certain lineup.&nbsp; He has had a very nice season for Proviso East anytime our staff has seen him play.&nbsp; Powerful slasher, can post up, and is a solid shooter from 15-18 feet with his high release.&nbsp; Rebounds well for his position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1194341' first='David' last='Douglas'] (Yorkville Christian)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #36</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Douglas was a good third scorer for a 1A state championship team last year.&nbsp; Literally everyone left him to transfer or graduation.&nbsp; They have struggled as a team because of it, but it has opened up opportunities for Davis to unleash his full repertoire as he has posted 40+ point games and is one of the top scorers in the state.&nbsp; Three level bucket getter that is a no doubt D2 prospect!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1048386' first='Jaloni' last='Johnson'] (Proviso East)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #40</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson and Coleman have been rock solid for the Pirates all season long.&nbsp; Johnson proved over the summer with Flee Club he can score it at a high level game in and game out.&nbsp; Fluid ball handler that wins off the bounce and is a threat from all over the floor.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1113514' first='Evan' last='Jackson'] (De La Salle)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #47</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson has good positional size and length on the wing.&nbsp; Potential to be a quality defender at the next level.&nbsp; Offensively he has a feathery jumper that when it is on is lights out, but can fall in love with it at times.&nbsp; Solid rebounder and decent handle.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1401824' first='Tyler' last='Smith'] (Kenwood)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Current Ranking: #48</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith made the move over to Kenwood for his final high school season and it has helped his stock.&nbsp; Good secondary scorer next to Ames while being able to impact defensively and as a ball handler when needed.&nbsp; The kid has a lot of intangibles you have to like as a two way guard!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
