Wednesday afternoon Prep Hoops PA took in the Allderdice-Perry game on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Allderdice came away with a 72-46 win. Who stood out?

[player_tooltip player_id='1518798' first='Logan' last='Golle'] | G | Allderdice

The junior lead guard was on fire today and played with a high motor on top of the press and forced turnovers and bad shots. He's active on defense and comes up with steals and scored at all levels. One of a handful of college level guards in the Dragons Den. He had 16 on the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1187923' first='Major' last='Rainey'] | F | Allderdice

An explosive athlete and slasher, Rainey got to the tin through quite a bit of contact and was able to finish with ease. He was active on the offensive boards and created a host of second chance points for himself and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1186477' first='Antwone' last='Ward-Thurman']. Rainey led all scorers with an impressive 23 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1436504' first='Ethan' last='Anish'] | G | Allderdice

A senior leader and multi year starter, Anish looks like he's grown an inch and put on about 15 pounds of muscle as his frame has matured from "boy" to "man" in the last year. Anish was a pest on defense and is a tough on-ball defender. He's a great passer, facilitator and knows how to get his teammates going on the break in transition--It's a specialty at 'Dice as Rainey, [player_tooltip player_id='991387' first='Sam' last='Kelly'] and Golle are their outlets.

[player_tooltip player_id='2950688' first='Lukas' last='Stead'] | F | Allderdice

An imposing freshman at about 6'3"-6'4" and 230lbs, Stead is a multi sport athlete who also excels in football and baseball. He's going to be a tough player on the basketball court who would likely be starting for 70% of the teams in Western PA right now, but is a young player learning the ropes at 'Dice. He can defend on the perimeter but also battle down low. He'll be a player to watch the next few seasons.

Ahmad Arrington | G | Perry

The Traditional Academy had a tough day, but Arrington shouldered the load offensively, going for 18. He's got a nice first step to the rim and is confident in traffic. He's also a multi sport athlete who is the QB on the football team, runs track and plays volleyball. He'll be one of the top athletes in the City next year, as he's a junior.
