Ocala is the place to be for coaches wanting to recruit central Florida. The MLK Classic at Forest high school will have everything from high-major guards to diamonds in the rough. We'll name the five best prospects heading into Saturday's games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055791' first='Karter' last='Knox']
Knox is one of the biggest names in the state and county for the 2024 class. The powerful 6'6 guard can score in bunches, make athletic plays on both ends, and gives you the toughness you need on the perimeter. His matchup with Victory Christian will be standing room only as he faces our number two prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055782' first='Lorenzo' last='Cason']
Cason is coming off a 57-point, 11 rebounds, and 7 assist performance. He'll have a few games to cool off, but that's unlikely for the 2024 guard averaging nearly 25 points per game. It's not just the scoring that excites scouts when they see Cason. High level of athleticism for the position, a growing skillset as a shotmaker, and playmaking abilities all help Cason garner attention from mid-major plus schools.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055798' first='Julian' last='Clarke']
Clarke is a blur with the ball in his hands. His creative play and ability to get downhill are helping him to the best statistical season of his varsity career. The 2024 guards can shift gears out of hesitations and pick and rolls for clean looks at the rim. If you're looking for a guard that can penetrate the paint and take contact on the way to the hole without being knocked off balance Clarke is worth taking a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055786' first='Kellan' last='Lewis']
Lewis joins Clarke in one of the most talented backcourts in the 14-team field. He's earned a Hampton offer based off his performance as a sophomore. Lewis can get in the paint, too but focuses more on creating for others as the defense bends to him. He'll draw fouls on the way to the rack to provide a scoring threat to his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='921106' first='Moses' last='Horne']
Horne is 6'4 with an athletic build. He shows combo guard skills as an on ball off ball threat for P.K. Yonge. The senior can knock down three off the catch, makes hustle plays, and create for himself and others with the ball in his hands. His versatility, overall game, and years of production against high-level competition should make him an enticing prospect for the right program.

Honorable mentions:
[player_tooltip player_id='1055768' first='X'Zavion' last='McCoy'], Deontrell Jenkins, [player_tooltip player_id='1055803' first='Cyrus' last='LaPlant']
