I started the week off with Indianapolis Shortridge at Indianapolis Chatard. Then, I took on a pair of Holiday Tournaments at North Daviess and Franklin County during the next two days. Let’s take a look at the top point guards from these seven games in action.
Roseman is a quick freshman point guard who played excellent in just his third varsity game. He opened the game with a couple of mid-range jumpers, and he also showed the ability to get to the hole when he wanted to. His court vision was another thing that was off the charts. Roseman is going to be an outstanding player for the next four years. He ended with 20 points, 6 assists, and 0 turnovers in the win.

Dunham is another quick point guard who can do it all on the basketball court. Despite a tough shooting night, he came alive in the second half for 16 points. On offense, he has a great crossover, looks to get to the hole, and he can get his own shot whenever he wants. On the defensive end, he is constantly looking to come up with the steal. Dunham finished with 21 points, 6 assists, 6 steals, and 5 rebounds to keep Evansville Christian in the game.
Cole is a scoring point guard who struggled from the outside in this one, but he still found ways to help his team. When the shots weren’t falling, he started attacking the hole, getting to the rim, and drawing contact inside. Cole was lights out from the free throw line at 13-15. He also used his athleticism to dominate the glass. He finished with 19 points and 6 rebounds in the loss.
Mullen is an outstanding point guard who can do nearly everything well on the court. He shot lights out from both the inside and out in this one as he was getting nearly every shot uncontested. Despite the hot shooting, Mullen did not force anything as he was constantly looking for the open man. This was one of the better games that I had seen from Mullen. He ended with 29 points on 11-13 shooting with 7 assists in the big win.

Howard is a junior point guard who excels on the defensive end of the floor. He uses his hands well and is always looking for a chance to poke the ball away. He can also shoot it well from the outside and showed off some nice touch around the rim. Howard finished with 12 points and 4 steals in the loss.
Hogg made his return after missing two games with injury, and he started off quick. He hit a couple of mid-range jumpers as well as a triple for a 9-point first quarter. He is outstanding with the mid-range, and he can also attack and use his finishing around the rim. He also sees the floor well and made some great passes. Hogg finished with 15 points in the loss.
